I use RipX Deep Remix to extract the vocals from the original track, but there are lots of alternatives. Even free ones!

How did you setup the synth lead 14 preset? because I get a mess when I adjust according to the picture from the video, and the sound is not at all what you have

In the Synthesis tab you will need to change the first oscillator (Line 1) to Square waves and disable the second oscillator (Line 2). After that modify the Amp enveloppe of Line 1. You can see the exact settings in the screenshot that I show in the video.

Or more generically, start with a square wave or 'square lead' on whatever synth you're using, lengthen the attack and decay slightly so it's not so sharp, and add a delay (echo).
