@@user-bw4lj2jk6z So what I gathered from the lyrics, he's singing to a woman he used to be in a relationship with. After a while, they started drifting apart and forgetting the promise they made eachother (which could have been "I will love you forever"), which I think means they broke up. In the ending lyrics, he sings something along the lines of "I'm beginning to love the pain because the love and wounds are dear to me". This could mean he's holding onto her memory and heartbreak of her leaving him because he loves her so much. He clings on to those wounds because they're the only things left of her in his life. Truly a sad song.
