'All our past times' need to be remembered now more than ever. The Band and their friends evoke a past that has been corrupted and defiled and is now being destroyed by vile soulless deranged filth that have been spawned in the black swamp of degeneracy. The music of the Band awakened in me a sense of community and brotherhood that will stay with me forever.
I would sell my soul to go back to when my love was alive and we would end our day embraced to sounds of The Band. Van Morrison etc. The warmth and love became 2 urns and the memories of times long gone. Ps. How could this not have been in the movie. I knew Rick and his brother Maurice. Shit man. Take care guys
Thank you Bill Graham! Best Thanksgiving we ever had! My first and best Winterland show...wonderful. I'm glad I saw a few there in between this and the Closing of Winterland show. THANKS!
This is lovely 🥰, especially since the two guys who wrote it 😎 are in the band 😋. That being said, THE recording of “All Our Past Times” is the one on EC’s Just One Night, which is also live. Great post!
Rick's voice is the most beautiful heartbreaking soulful voice I ever heard At 1.55 I don't want to be the one who thinks of nothing. I don't want to be the one to tell you what you have seen. After all this time, well I thought that you were mine. I just want to be the one who would share this dream.
Buy the LW box set or you can listen to it on your phone. Don't know about iTunes, but it is on Spotify as The Last Waltz (Deluxe Version). It's most of the songs, plus both jam sessions and the two studio songs that were done for the film. Also some extra songs including rehearsal versions from the show.
Aside from Bob Dylan, all of the guest stars in The Last Waltz were given one song's worth of screentime, and Clapton already appeared on camera in "Further On Up the Road." It's also possible that "All Our Past Times" wasn't filmed--the TLW was filmed with 35mm cameras, which need to have their reels changed every 10 minutes. They also need battery changes, so it would have been impossible to film every song in a 4 hour concert.
民生さんのシャウト凄すぎる!ありがとうございます
I wish Rick sang the entire song! His voice makes you want to cry! So plaintive and beautiful!
You are so right!
Yes.good call. Clapton sings well on songs like this. But perfect for Rick
I love this tune so much I’ll play it again my friends😎

보고, 또 보고, 또 보고...
I love Rick's singing on this. Great song!
Winterland looks like a very cool and casual venue. I'd like to have hung out there.
I like the JUST ONE NIGHT version of this especially Albert Lee's vocals and, their individual licks.... jmho
A super tune with friends that lend a hand when they can😎

'cept Richard's voice
should NOT be forgotten, great past times! thanks the band & EC
One of the most epic and Iconic tributes to the Band and Eric Clapton. This is the ONE I missed and wished I didn't.
I like how if sounds like Garth plays an EC lick on the organ when he's being introduced.
U can tell Eric was like holy shit can rick sing lol
Great one and so beautifull thank you so much.
You can hear Garth a lot better here, wow.
I love this
FANTASTIC!!
Oh Eric
My Girl of the North XXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXX !
Amen
Wish this was on TLW would have been nice considering Rick was a writer.
Rumor is is that it was written about Richard don't know if that is true or not. But Eric Did write his song Holy Mother about Richard.
Read in Robbie and Levon's books it was written about Eric and Richard's Friendship they were quite close.

@@randallw1977it’s on the deluxe via Apple Music also
Song starts at 0:58.
clean strats don't hit a wrong note!!
Except when Robbie played one
Kaiffarit.....biisi on törkeenhyvä
Although Eric's playing is smoother than Jamie's (fewer bum notes) Jamie's playing is much less predictable and more exciting.
Robbie was not on the original recording of the song Only Rick and Richard.
Please forgive me, oh great one (for the spelling mistake). It was his name.@@jazzfan67
i wonder why this wasn't in the last waltz?
