Animals are aware of adults and children. They can sense who it a threat and those that wish to help if injured. Some are wild and have zero regard for anyone and will attack. Over the decades, I have had feral animals ask for help. Either they were injured or asked me to follow them to help injured or trapped animals, usually their little one. Animals are intelligent and have emotions. Sometimes, the animals I helped would rub my legs in gratitude, and some, though the first few times caught me off guard, would rise on their back legs and put their front legs on my shoulders as if giving me a hug in gratitude. Animals respond to me as nothing else I have ever seen.
Such an emotional and powerful story. It reminds us that sometimes the real strength lies in kindness and protection, not in power or dominance. We can learn from the lion that being a protector can come in the most unexpected forms. Let's strive to be a little kinder, stronger, and more understanding every day. Wishing health and peace to everyone!

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences, Jeffrey. Your connection with animals is truly inspiring, and it’s amazing to hear how they’ve reached out to you for help. It’s a beautiful reminder of how intelligent and emotionally aware animals can be. Your compassion and kindness towards them are remarkable, and I’m sure they sense the goodness in you. Stories like yours give hope and remind us all of the incredible bond we share with animals. Thank you for being such a wonderful advocate for them!
The parents were being pursued by dangerous individuals and had no other option to ensure their child’s safety. It was an impossible situation, and they made the heart-wrenching decision to leave their child temporarily to protect him from harm. Their actions, though painful, came from a place of desperation and love.
I find the story a beautiful. Reminder of how natural instinct of the dark main lion was the boy as food. If we reach out and allow God to help? God use’s all that He has already created through out all of time, and using the lessons that he has already taught Charlie and the bond of the golden main lion They were able to use those lessons to save and care for the child . This story has a truth to it! Look up’s news report that happened in Africa several years back of a young girl, being kidnapped and protected by three or 42 year-old male lions until the Rangers came by and the lions led the Rangers to the young girl. God is alway watching and helping, but never taking our freedoms away each has a right to choose to have Him in our lives . Or
