The Ethiopian Eunuch fit nowhere until he met the suffering Christ through the book of Isaiah and is baptized by Philip along the wilderness road. However, the Spirit whisks Philip away before he can disciple the Ethiopian Eunuch, leaving the Eunuch free to become a Christ follower in his own particular way.
