I was the same (initially). "What in the world have I gotten myself in to?" I touched up after four weeks and was at a love/hate relationship. Now I wait 8 weeks: cleanse after work on a Friday. Start in the back the same night and finish throughout the next day. it's well worth not needing to do anything to my hair for 8 weeks except cleanse and moisturize. I'm six months in and plan to go another six months. more than likely i'll go another year. the length retention is unbelievable!

I did mine over the weekend for the same reason. Mine isn't as long or thick as yours so it didn't take as long. You did a beautiful job and I hope to one day have that length! Looking forward to your next video.

I’ve worn mini twist but never thought about mini braids. I’ve done micro braids with extensions. I’m working and a full time student super busy but I do not want to use braiding hair. It’s horrible for my scalp. I will try this out 😊.

My nape is the same. Mine are larger than yours (maybe 50-65 braids) but I have to halve the nape and do 2 braids on the first back row, then 3 braids on the next row above.

How many times do you oil your hair while in this style?
If I can remember I think 1x before I washed it. Once I washed it I think that made it the 2nd time. Honestly, once my hair is done I really don't do anything else to it.
I want to, but I can’t! I do keep mine braided or cornrows but medium.
You should try it. I had never braided before and I just decided to do my own mini braids. I did it over 2 1/2 days because I had to work. It looked good. I kept it for 4 weeks bc I didn’t want it to lock. Try it.
Try it at least once. You may love it and decided to keep doing it.
