Stray, you should give Android 16 another try. His ki blasts are pretty solid damage-wise and are lasers so they go through the raiders ki blasts and still hit. I think they also do more damage than kid buus lasers.
I've tested him before and the one thing I don't like is that his Ki Blasts animation trap you. So if you are shooting them and the Raider does a super you won't have time to dodge unlike other Ki blasts. But I will try him again for a video!

I've been using Krillin as my level 3 sphere for a good while because I love him and that he has Destructo Discs as his basic ki shot. Disctructo Disc is a pretty alright super in my experience too, so him and 18 are really good in my eyes. Dual Destructo Disc also seems really pretty solid too if used as a supporting super
Back when Season 1 was new, I remember always using Dual Destructo Disc since I got the pre-order bonus. Seeing that 18's ki blasts actually can stall for time, I think I may replace Tien as my Level 3... Maybe...
Back when Season 1 JUST released I used Dual-Destructo Disk quite a bit as I felt like SBC was cheating but I still wanted a good Super. Since 18 was the pre-order bonus it was easy to get. Too bad they nerfed it despite it doing low damage anyways…
I feel like they designed all of the Destructo Discs to be support on purpose since they’re rarely used when in confrontation in the series. Most of the time we see the move used it’s from Krillin using it to surprise enemies.
I think Android 18 is a solid transphere that's good for consistent hits. I'd say use her at either Level 2 or Level 3 with Dual Destructo-Disc being selected.

Hey Stray, could you do a video on choosing to power your allies rather than lv. 4. We all know if 5-7 are level 3 against a level 2 it’s essentially over. maybe even a 3. I don’t see it being picked enough so could make a good video lol
problem is two-fold. 1 without a level 4 you really can't long stall or melee a level 4 Raider so if they get on the STM you gotta really hope your supers or actives break the knockback gauge. 2 while powering allies gives everyone level 3 it...doesn't give them D-Change. if everyone is already out and using it cause they were fighting then all you've done is make the limited drinks in the supplies have less impact
In this way c16 is better in lv3 because he can spam his ki blast and it's work like c18 lv2 and for lv1 kid buu and SSJ bardock use ki blast like trunk SSJ lv3.

"Best" level 1 Transphere for me is Piccolo. Same Ki Blasts as SSJ Trunks at Level 3/4, and you get to use SBC. It's my go to Guldo killer.
I will say Android 18 in level 1 and 2 is very nice, level 2 is risky though but at least you got the laser ki blast so don't spam it! be caution.
