advise for building beta tent (i got 350xl). put the harings on the ground line first (non rope) than the 3 poles. than the ropes and inner tent. it make the tent alot more straight. and lowers the pitch time.
This is a good tent but a pain to set up and take down. Not worth the money, new. Blasts, shakes, cold as ice even with all buttoned down. In temperate weather
The groundsheet is not sewn in as you suggested, it is linked in. That makes a lot of difference to some people.
