I saw this band last night, supporting OneRepublic. What can i say, they were an absolutely amazing band, I have feel in love with them. Their most deferentially the band to keep an eye on.
i didn't know the band until i went to a 3 days of concerts in Porto (portugal) where they play what a show, i'd love and now i can't stop listening their music
I can't stop listening to this song! It's so beautiful and I can't describe, but it made me fall in, hm. It's like they're singing "sinking underwater..." It feels like I'm dreaming, such an awesome song! (and band!) wow!
A Silent Film is the most underrated band in the world right now! I thought "The City That Sleeps" should have been up for album of the year award! The entire album was moving, emotional, and uplifting, which is what you're looking for in music, right!! Thirteen Times the Strength is (arguably) my favorite song of ALL TIME and deserves way more recognition than it is getting.
The overflowing Dam seen towards the end is Howden Dam, at around 2:30 is Derwent Reservoir/Dam (where the Dambusters practised for their famous WWII raid), both in Derbyshire, UK. The rest is filmed around the area.
I laughed so hard when I saw their last show. Robert said for this video orginally they were going to make him look kinda staticy and ghosty for the video. Due to budget, they could not afford it at the time. So they kept it as is and he felt like he looked like a stalker in the video. 🤣🤣🤣
I just discovered them...pretty good debut....I compare them to a cross of Keane and the Killers. Both of the aforementioned bands being better.....I am really looking forward to see how they progress, however!
I like almost every song by a silent film! But how come barely anybody knows who they are? They're AWESOME!
Saw this band perform live im Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY, in 2016. Amazing show.

This song and Lamplight rip my heart out every time I hear them because I love both songs rather intensely.

This album is soooo good. Love Aurora as a closer too and one wrong door is a master piece.

You kind of read the future, they released a cover of the album Sam's Town.
Anni Birklbauer yeah lol. A shame they broke up.
@nmackey405 pay attention to the lyrics and you'll realize the video has a lot to do with it.
they sound at least ten years more experienced than they actually are.
at some points, they sound a bit scottish
@HiHelloHi6
prepubescent would mean they sound like a bunch of children which obviously isn't the case lol
