We went to the old Town Square two days ago. We both loved it. We only bought a couple of things there, I love Nutcrackers and we got a new one. The prices were ok, but we picked up a couple of other items at a very small market near the Prague Marriott Hotel. We each got a new scarf, only paid 250 czech each. A similar scarf in Berlin was more than twice that much. We went to three major Christmas markets on this trip. The others were in Dresden and Berlin, they were nice, but Prague was the best!
I’ve watched so many of these videos from you guys, but I’m really surprised you don’t have more subscribers…….it’s their loss I guess. Great content and even though I live here, it’s still nice to learn some new things time to time 👏👏😃
Fantastic guy’s definitely come out in the future for a Christmas market. Prague has definitely upped its game since I first visited back in 1996/7. What a city, people and culture❤
All lovely was there 4 night break last Monday to Friday,last one is really nice to,beautiful city love Prague all ready miss it food pastry s ,beer yummy , great video
I was in Prague in the Old Town Square last year in late December. It was beautifully decorated! Lots of lovers hugging, kissing and taking pictures. Very romantic! I also saw Krampus and one of his fellow monsters! I've missed Prague since the day I left.❤
Where are those times when hot wine was for 25 Kč. 😀 I find ridiculous that most of markets disaper at 23rd, so when you want some hot head or wine after christmas eve, you can't get it, which is stupid becuase people have mostly free time between christmas and new year, but I guess those sellers want their free time too.
i hope you dont mind, but i'm pretty sure my friend and i accidentally found you giving a tour in the castle to a small group while we were visiting the prague christmas markets. i was taking a short video clip of the area before i realized it was you =O
Visited with family 4 of the 5 Christmas markets in 2 1/2 days last weekend (instead of nám. J. z Poděbrad we were in Václavské náměstí). We liked the markets on Náměstí Republiky and Náměstí Míru best (less food and drink, but more gifts and souvenirs.)
Wonderful guide, im glad i watched it til the end because i didnt know some markets close so early!! I want to ask about NÁMĚSTÍ MÍRU, is the last day its open is 24th of December? Or officially closed by December 24? 🥵🥺😭 i want to go today :'(

Hi, starting this year, there is a ban on fireworks in the Old Town + parts of New Town.. So no private fireworks are allowed, and there will be no fireworks show on the January 1st sadly.....
