I’ve never seen this show, but I can share two things that I noticed immediately. 1. Being off book is ALWAYS the best way to go, if you can manage it. Once you know the lines, you open up a world of possibilities with your eyes, body, etc during an audition 2. If you notice, much of what he ended up doing on set was different than his audition, which proves that he is easy to direct. Casting noticed his great acting chops and the director probably had him show variation in the callback. Then was like, “Yep, I can definitely work with him!” Amazing job! Now I need to go look for this show! 🙌🏾🙏🏾💕
That moment before he went on stage to perform 7 seconds when he was looking at all of himself shattered, not as one... man that made me feel him !!! I love actors that can emote !!!
