I was in Brighton beach - UK last summer in August and Gyedu Blay-Ambulley's song was played there with Bisa-Kdei Asew song.
And when I went to Brighton Nando's to get food there Mr Ambulley's song was being played inside the Nando's restaurant again.
I told my wife Ghana we don't know what we have.
Hammer is a very intelligent man.

As usual, another great interview. My problem however with Ambuley is that he complains about everything in the music industry today. meanwhile, during his time, people also thought he was not playing highlife but rap music. He also wants to be MUSIGA president and even GHAMRO chairman one day, but he should know that whilst he accuses those in charge today as thieves, he would also be called the same when he gets that position one day.

The phrase only the best come from the west is not attributed to western region of Ghana but the global conflict and tension between west and east which means the west led by America as compared to east led by then Soviet Union offers better.
