Thinking about this afterwards, I guess maybe this sign is for the property beyond the trees, but if so, then shouldn't the sign be moved to be on their property? What do you think about this? Have you ever seen a beware of vicious dog sign like this on the street before?

Yes my friends dog was just attacked by the owners dog because there is no gate to stop the dog from leaving the yard if it's outside ever. Not to mention my friend had told me there has been other complaints about attacks by that same dog and house but the bylaws are so vague in description that they won't do anything about it right away unless they get actual evidence themselves

This is why exposure is important, these dogs have attacked people multiple times, including a dog of a friend of mine. Nobody is doing anything about it, thank you for making this video people need to be aware!

My dad made the sign, because his friends dog was mauled by the owners dog. If you can’t train your dog maybe you shouldn’t have it.
I agree. Unfortunately I drove past that corner last night and the sign was gone.
My guess is a guard dog , I would call animal by-law , and have them check it out
Since posting this video I heard that someone was attacked, but not enough evidence for the SPCA or RCMP to do anything about it, so this is their warning to others.
they have lots of evidence and theirs been numerous complaints about this residence, but for some reason no authorities will do anything

Oh and I live down the street and are more than willing to meet you there. This video really doesn't do much other than make a little noise
Lazy and irresponsible if you ask me. Sounds like to me the owner of said dog is afraid to assert his/her dominance over it. My advice... If you plan to have a dog and it's your first one, start off with one that doesn't have temperamental tendencies. I used to deliver the Sun and Province in that area. I'm glad that I'm not now.
Yes, I did have an encounter like this with a Rottweiler in Abbotsford a few years back. Luckily the dog gave me just a body check and not a mauling.
