Yes but the country is in debt too. So shouldn't we be able to get money from wherever we can .
The issue is the politicians willing to do the illigal activitys not the actual donating idea..
Can't punish the contribution because scumbags abuses..

Great idea. Should also ban taxpayer donations, i.e. their obscene salaries, and make political leadership positions honorary.
Good idea would help restore some trust in the system
So........ only the major parties will have any funds and in particular the party in power. I believe all donations should be VERY transparent.
