The spring on the bridge for my high e seems loosed is it supposed to be like that? Like it’s all wobbly now since the string snapped, which is what led me to this video
When u have your guitar setup, a repair technician will examine your instrument & adjust the neck & the string height, paying close attention 2 the condition of the nut, the saddle & the springs in the bridge. Guitars, generally, are made of wood & wood is constantly changing. Wood changes with time, temperature & humidity. Put simply, the guitar u buy today won’t sound the same as it will 5, 10 or 50 years from now. So in the long run it makes your guitar last longer & overall sound better.
It sounds like it has to do with the bridge. Try loosening the string and wiggling the bridge pins a little and then bring it back into tune. If that doesn't help then it probably has to do with the nut groove, loosen the string again and wiggle it at the nut... then bring back to tune. Let me know if this helps. Keep Rocking.
For those of thosr making stupid comments his nails (nails being his right hand thumb nail, the only one that is long) he probably plays flamenco or classical guitar!
first i took the back off mine then i cut them to short .they didnt have enough wraps on the peg. but after your video i went buy more and it was easy =) thanks
Thx man! This tutorial was very helpful!
Thanks extraordinary method 😊
when i tried to put mine on, there was some intense buzz on the string that I had not heard before. Can you explain what I did wrong?
I know it been 7 years but I’m pretty sure it’s fret buzz
@@curtisoconnell1598 yea
The tremolo detunes and changes the curve of the bridge when you restring like that.
how do I prevent that
Thank you really helpful, finally learned how to change strings

This guitar is beautiful, what model is it?
Seems to be a Jackson Dinky JS23. Unfortunately, they aren't sold new with the HSS PU configuration anymore

what model is that guitar? I love the natural wood finish. I know its an entry level model.
I think it is a JS22 Dinky Arch top or a JS32 Dinky Arch top. The color is Natural Oil. Guitar made by Jackson.

You are more than welcome buddy! :) keep rockin'.
Thanks buddy! 😎🤘
Couldn't see which direction you wound b and e because they were out of frame
Why what happened?
Lol you don't tune them immediately... Allow them to stretch out for a couple of hours then you can do the tuning.... You are basically wasting effort
Ken T You stretch them then tune.
i wish i would have watched this be4 i did mine lol
Or he uses his nails for bango
Dutch cutting nail lol
OH my god..your nails.
