There is no safety, Wood and arc welding, composite construction.Actually Truck Body Code is implemented in our country from 2018 October onwards. But the registering authorities don't about this or they register the vehicle through bribes. Even ARAI authorities (who have made the norms) and Morth is not bothered about the safety of Drivers.

These trucks are not for exporting, its used for domestic purpose . The company sells chases , so that they can build according to their needs . Woods are used for lowering temperature , western side of India hot and harsh and these bodies are easy to maintain. Export models are built like international quality ,example TATA prima
When you dont know difference between a metal and a wooden cabin, keep all your holes closed, both on top & down. First go and find out which cabin is better to be in from experienced drivers, because they spend months at a stretch in those cabins. You shouldn't bark like this unnecessarily.
