Excellent video; however hard to hear your guidance when whispering.

Great video but the sound is not good and on top of that you talked somethings really low so I add to replay a couple of parts quite often to figure out what you said.

Thank you so much, and congratulations on the clarity of information. I would like to ask if migration from Windows Server 2012 Essential is possible with the same process?

Will my Exchange 2010 server be affected when I upgrade my controllers?

    My case:
Have two 2012 R2 DCs. (one in each site)
Added two 2022 Servers - promoted to DCs.
Failed prereq because 2012 servers still replicating over FRS.
    Changed to DFSR
Now I have users who cannot log into RDP sessions because replication is not quite right.
It might be because of KRBTGT
Worried what using the change KRBTGT password tool will do to my domain.

Fantastic ..Video,, will this also bring over the DNS Server or do i have to migrate this and the DHCP too?
    thanks you.

DNS will be replicated you will need to migrate the existing DHCP to the new server and update the DNS to the new IP

Can i use the old IP for the new Server after the migration? What is the best steps to do this? My domain controller is also the DNS server. I don't want to change the IP since we have tons of servers with static configurations. Thank you in advance! I already liked and subscribed.

were you able to get this answer? I too was contemplating on this. I would like to repurpose the same IP on the 2012 server to 2022.

    The operation failed because:
A domain controller could not be contacted for the domain bandaid.whoopsies that contained an account for this computer. Make the computer a member of a workgroup then rejoin the domain before retrying the promotion.
"The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted."

th-cam.com/video/yrpAYB2yIZU/w-d-xo.html This is more accurate and I would install DNS server roles on the new server else dns settings will only replicate to servers with dns server roles active.
