Hail Porter A lot of people just use poster board and paint on the glossy side (NOT the matte) and then stick it on a frame. Apparently you can use canvas but I've never tried it
are you using a poster board with a glossy side? and brand spray paint are you using? im doing the same things you are, yet my stuff doesnt look good. the poster board ive been using doesnt have glossy side. i wonder if thats it.
I may be pretty dang late to the party, but using glossy posterboard would definitely make a difference. As for the brand used in this video, it's Rustoleum; most American spray paint artists you'll see on TH-cam tend to use it.
