Loving these longer videos. Keep it up! Keep strong on TH-cam. Even if it doesn’t grow as fast, the people who stick around for these longer videos are your true followers. These are the people who will tune in for every episode, recommend you to friends and maybe one day support you on patreon. You’re doing great!

💯 I followed the TikTok trail to this story here. I like TT but it’s very interactive. U hv to participate to keep going. TH-cam u can set it and forget it (aka pk a video + get some work done, cook, clean or drift off to sleep). It’s the place for long term followers IMHO

@@LLynneM agreed! TH-cam has been around forever and is still huge world wide. TH-cam is my primary form of media and entertainment. I don’t watch tv or stream. I use my bfs Netflix account here and there but TH-cam my main place for podcasts, entertainment, news, etc and I know I’m not the only one.

If you scream, “SHARK!” I don’t have to see it to get the heck out of the water. Those pics you showed are the closest i’m getting to Dudley Town….The second person that touched the fire was dumb!! lol

When I was a kid in the early 70’s my family and I lived on Bald Mountain Road, and for a short time, in a hunting cabin at the entrance of the Dark Entry Forest. We used to play in the forest and would walk through it to get to the general store.
I remember vividly as a 6-7 year old how empty that place felt. There was a feeling of disorientation and as you mentioned, there was a sort of muffled sound and hard to explain but like you’re in a recording booth. I remember the birch trees and the cracking beneath my feet but no other sound . No birds. Nothing.
There was always a panic sort of feeling.
Dudleytown has continued to affect my life long after leaving there. I appreciate your in depth history.

Thank you for this video. I have enjoyed every one so far, and expect that won't change. You are definitely my new favorite! ⚘ Now for Dudleytown. I have a couple of pictures taken just inside the limits there. Shortly after, the camera refused to work. Our group kept going until we heard noises in the trees that weren't birds, unless birds can growl like a dog, bellow like a bull, or scream like a rabbit in a trap. So much for the silent part.. If I ever get the chance to return, I will run the other way. And before anyone tells you different, you have most of the facts right. I know, I talked with an historian here, and one in Great Britain. Part of my research before my group went there... As for Brophy, he stayed there until a fire destroyed everything he owned. And he passed out of the area immediately after. The Warrens had it right. And getting permission from the owners is almost impossible... but we spoke with them, and had two sheriff's deputies went with us. I don't remember who was out of there first, our group or the deputies.

Makes me so happy that you enjoy! Oh my GOSH! A GROWL?! THAT GIVES ME THE CHILLS! Haha I don't blame you I'd run the other way too! Thank you for sharing your experience - its so interesting to hear :)

Worth noting, being a skeptic doesn't mean you don't believe that we don't have the answer, just that an answer exists that can be proven. The supernatural is easy to believe in because you don't really have to prove anything- you just have to want it to be true.
That said, I'm a skeptic who absolutely believes in the supernatural, but I have seen plenty of others who are happy to just throw out words like 'demon' and 'curse' without really understanding those things.
Enjoyed the video though, really like your narration.

Hi 👋 thank you so much for posting this video. My name is Lauren and I was born in Connecticut I went to Dudley town a couple of times around the year 2001. It was not open to the public and you did need to look out for the police but once you got in the woods no one really was coming to look for you. One time I went with my boyfriend Ian on a beautiful sunny fall day. We knew that dudleytown was haunted but neither one of us really knew what the cause was as teenagers growing up we know that it was a cursed town. That day on the hike it was a very ominous feeling and there was no sounds of anything no birds, animals, insects, etc. Also at a certain point we realized that we had like you said in the video almost been walking in circles and we had gotten turned around and it was really weird because we both have very good navigational skills. Once we kind of found our bearings we decided to leave just based on the fact that we had gotten lost in the woods and it was not a good feeling. I thought it was so crazy how you said that on your video because I had never heard anyone say that about this place before and it's exactly what he and I experienced that day. There is a ominous kind of heavy gloomy feeling once you enter those woods. Another time a bunch of my friends and I were like partying on a Friday or Saturday night and we decided to drive up to Dudley town at night.as we approached the forest I could you not the car radio started cutting out and playing weird music that we were not playing. The car even sputtered out and would not start legit for like 15 minutes. This was a newer car and it was in good condition there was absolutely no reason for it to be doing this. It is very dark out there and it was terrified as soon as we got the car started we didn't even continue to go into the woods we just turned around and went back home. I hope that this story is one you wanted to hear it was so cool to see this video regarding a place I went to as a teenager 💚🍀

It is really quite wild isn't it? I would be in 1 area, feel very at peace and then in another part of town BOOM I would feel this sense of dread. I'm glad i'm not the only one because it is a strange feeling right?!

A friend of mine here in Connecticut visited Dudleytpwn. He said he would never go there again.
He had gone there with a friend and once they were inside both of their watches stopped. One got a rash on his arm and when they tried to leave, their car wouldn’t start.

These videos are so fascinating. As someone in the UK I love hearing about stories like this from all over. It does seem strange to me that they would keep Dudleytown so well closed off. I can kind of see the explanation of the water being a problem, but it doesn't account for animal disappearances. Not to mention, surely by now if that was the theory, it would have been tested and given as an official reason to close off the area, rather than being evasive about it. It's almost surprising that the association that owns it didn't latch onto that suggestion about the water being the reason it had to stay closed to the public.

Great video on Dudleytown Avery! Definitely something going on there. Happy you put something in your Tik Tok channel regarding your TH-cam channel.. I wasn't aware you had a channel here. So, thank you for that!Question, have you done any videos regarding your own personal paranormal experiences? I'm certain all your fans would love to hear about them as well! I certainly would! Take care and keep up with the great stories!

Perhaps its a portal for entities( demons) to enter the town. It has most of the signals when the entities are around. The creatures in the woods are also probably them as well

I just hiked a section of thr Mohawk trail that runs by Dudleytown. It was beautiful. I found rocks that look like glass or obsidian or something. My phone didn't work but that's the only unusual thing that happened there for me

Avery, you'll probably never read this. But, I find it adorable, at the top of the track when you say, "I think so". I giggle every time I listen to this video. I think to myself, how does she know if we're ready for a spooky story. Very innocent pleasure, but sometimes I LMAO. Forgive me, I was raised Catholic, and was very sheltered from corruption. Lol. So my humor is probably awkward.

Cornwall conneticut is a very wealthy town and homes like the one shown is average . Maybe something strange exists in the forest , some kind of abnormal electromagnetic convergence which might explain cameras not functioning in the region and even hallucinations which have been thought to explain other allegedly very haunted forests. Anyway great and interesting video

There is video of the black shadow creature on the edge of the Black Forest
The one thing that wasn’t mentioned was wrist watches would stop working while in there I’ve been there twice once in 1989 and again in 2000 ( which we got a 350$ ticket for trespassing) and that was being nice about it
As I explained I have been there before to the police in 89 and campers and bickers would have to be out before sunset
He told me in 99 there was no one ever allowed there even at day time
But still a weird and creepy place if I find that video I’ll post it for you to watch and let me know what you think
