Hello sir, my name is Vishnu. I recently watched your videos about passive voices. One of your examples about the verb "expect' Active-" India expected to win the world cup" Wrong Passive-" The world cup was expected to be won by India". You said this was because there is no agent for "expected" Now another example with verb "refuse". Active-"Your father refused to give the money to me" Correct Passive-"The money was refused to be given to me by your father". You explained that we could write like this if the two verbs have the same object. But while comparing these two passive sentences of "expect" and "refuse", I don't understand how one is wrong and the other is right.
@@englishguruamansir Hello sir, I have tested the same on the whatsapp number you have given. If you don't mind could you please send me voice message regarding the clarification.
A very slight difference! 'On' = no time gap + reason. On the other hand Present Participle suggests only two actions happening one after the other without any time gap. Both are correct.

Sir, 1) He couldn't sleep all night. Is sentence ka short question kaise Banega . Why or why not 2)my friend wants to talk to you. Ans: about what? Or what about?
The grammatical short question is ’Why couldn’t you? But in spoken English, the grammar of a sentence is not important, but the meaning is more important. So it is more proper to say 'why not’ and 'about what'
May you live long sir ,,
