gary abram There is nothing wrong with the electronics on the Phantom VIII. I was one of the first US deliveries. It’s a great car.

現代の車は安全性でしょうがないんだろうけど、前にマツダのロードスター乗ってるとき痛感したが、いかんせん窓枠が太すぎるよな。だからオープン乗ってても前の景色がクローズドの車と変わりがないんだ。まあしょうがないわけだが、一度クラシックカーフェスティバルみたいなので、ＭＧＡってスポーツカーに座らせていただいたんだ。１９６０年代頃のか？ 昔のはほんとにピラーが細くて、いいなあって思ったな。

This must be tailored for the American market, why, orange reflectors on the front wings and back end of the car, they do look rubbish on a car like this
Extremely cheap looking interior without the wood waist rails with 4 different types of inlaid wood. Just a low grade leather. Even the dashboard is plain wood with no inlays. These German inspired BMW fake RR knock-offs will never be like the genuine Rolls-Royces of yesterday. RIP RR 1904-1998. The ironic thing is these BMW cars will be in a junkyard while the genuine RR’s keep rolling on, or just in a collection or museum.
Without the wood on the waist rails this really looks cheap compared to a real Rolls-Royce. I know all builders of the genuine RR’s immediately quit when the last RR Corniche was completed.
