I am sooooo happy I'm not the only "adult" that watches those wonderful old school cartoons like Scooby doo and The Flintstones. I have so many and am always watching them. ❤
My favorite cozy Christmas is when all the dogs are sleeping, all of my multi colored lights are on around the house, Im eating (sift) cookies, drinking decaf coffee, then reading a book. Love Scooby, Flintstones and the Jetsons.
I love how festive this vlog is with decorations, baking, and Christmas music!🎄 🍪 🎶 I've done some re-reads in the last few years and I've loved them too. I love slightly undercooked cookies with coffee. 🍪☕I hope you're feeling better now! ❤ I had a bad cold in the last few weeks that wouldn't go away so I can commiserate. I love the Castleton Manor Library series. It's in the my top 4 new to me cozy mystery series of the year. I read the first 12 and there are some really fun, unique themes to come in the series. I wish I could get my hands on the last 12 books but you have to join the book club to get them unless you find them used. I just finished You Feta Watch Out and it's fantastic!
Thank you so much Cat! I love slightly underbaked cookies too. Soft and chewy! Yum :) I am feeling all better now. Thank you! The colds and flus this year really seem to hang on. I have several loved ones who were also ill, and it took several weeks to bounce back. I love the Castleton Manor series, too! Oh no, I didn't know that about the last 12 books. I've been getting them from my library or used, so hopefully, I can find them. I love the title for You Feta Watch Out! Glad you enjoyed it 💙
I also tend to declutter and clean when I am taking down decorations. I really enjoyed hearing your reasons for decluttering books. It helps me to think through my own reasons for keeping or not keeping books. Chocolate chip cookies are the best! I am currently reading Saddled with Murder by Eileen Brady. It is the 4th in the Kate Turner, DVM series (or the first in the Dr. Kate Vet series - I think her publisher changed and they are calling this the first book). I read the first three books and really feel like I would be a little lost if I hadn't read them and started here. The MC is a vet (the author is a vet, so there are lots of interesting things to learn). This installment takes place at Christmas time. I really enjoyed this vlog. 🩷 I am now in the Christmas spirit! 🎄
I love a soft and warm cookie too. Glad you got over the flu! I’ve tried reading The Appeal by Janice Hallett before but didn’t know it was all in mixed media and the audiobook mentioned date and email addresses of to and from. I wouldn’t recommend. It just took me out of the story. So nice to see Nickel. Such a cutie!!!
Can't Spell Tea without Treason was ok, a very middle of the road, 3. I donated my book. I donate books once a month. Every month after I donate, I buy one book.
Loved this vlog! I have trouble to get in the christmas spirit atm, so this came at the perfect timing🤗 I only read the Twyford Code by Janice Hallet, but plan to read more. Sadly the Twyford Code was a DNF for me. It wasn't the content but I wasn't a fan of the mixed media elements, which were mostly audio files, so it was a bit too monotonous for me.
Where did you get a Christmas Scooby Doo Bingo game? Sorry so many questions, but also where did you find your Advent calendar? I love your video's and thank you for all you share
No worries! 😊So, the advent calendar was a gift from my mom. She found it at a local craft fair. The Christmas Scooby Doo bingo game is from Amazon: www.amazon.com/AQUARIUS-Scooby-Doo-Christmas-Family-Bingo/dp/B0D65TLRLW
Your video got me really in a festive mood! About Janice Hallett: As far as I know all her books are some kind of mixed media. The Appeal is all Emails/Texts/Case files (which I loved) and the Twyford Code is all audio files. It is not quite as jarring but I didn't really like it. I have yet to read the Alperton Angels, so I'm not sure how it is in comparison
What is your favorite cozy holiday activity? 🎄
Drinking hot chocolate with peppermint
Reading for sure! 😍
Reading and listening to holiday music!
I am sooooo happy I'm not the only "adult" that watches those wonderful old school cartoons like Scooby doo and The Flintstones. I have so many and am always watching them. ❤
You're definitely not alone! 💖The old school cartoons are some of my favorite shows by far.
Great video. So festive. I prefer soft and chewy cookies.
I agree, soft and chewy cookies are the best! 🎄💚

That sounds absolutely lovely! Nothing cozies than happy sleeping dogs around you 💜I love all those shows too.
Thanks Amy! I love to cozy up with just the Christmas lights on around the house and read a book with hot tea 🫖🎄🥰 nice way to relax!
That sounds so cozy and perfect! ☕
I love cozy mysteries with cats!
Same! They are so precious and fun 🐱

Thanks Amy I think Baking Christmas cookies is my favorite, or doing my Christmas cards.
I love sending out cards to friends and family! That's one of my favorite activities too 💚
Soft and gooey cookies definitely! Great cozy vlog! Love it! Thanks for sharing Amy Marie!❤ Merry Christmas!🎄
Thanks so much! 😊 Merry Christmas!!! 💚
I added that Peter Swanson to my TBR 👍
I read his "The Christmas Guest" novella last week and LOVED IT.
Ooh! Good to know! I'm picking up The Christmas Guest from my library holds today 💙
Soft and chewy cookies are the best Currently reading Gingerbread Danger❄️☃️
Agreed! 💙
Love a soft warm chocolate chip cookie
Absolutely the best! 💚🍪

Thank you Tammie! I'm feeling much better. The mixed media is definitely interesting. I'm not sure if I love it.
Can't Spell Tea without Treason was ok, a very middle of the road, 3. I donated my book. I donate books once a month. Every month after I donate, I buy one book.
That's a wonderful system! 💚

I'm so glad you found the vlog helpful! 🎄💚That's how I felt about the book I tried by her too, but I'm going to give it another go :)
