In this online guitar lesson from Center Stage Guitar Academy you will learn how to play Sweet Home Chicago. Sweet Home Chicago is one of the most popular blues tunes performed. It uses both common forms of the 12 bar blues. The verses use a 12 bar progression that stays on the I chord for 4 bars and the choruses use a quick change to the IV chord after one bar. The version we are learning here is in the key of E.

Amazing lesson man, takes some talent to both be clear and at the same time let people go their own way with it - kudos.

Robert johnson's version is Not even colse to The key of E, The way he plays it is totally different so I wonder where did you get this ideas like it's enough to play a regular acoustic E blues to teach Rj style

There sure are a lot of crybabies on the comments here for something being given free. I like your comment about doing whatever you want. There's too many clones playing music.

Your lessons are too difficult, most of don't know what notes you are talking about. Pls show us clearly what notes you are using. Can't follow you at all.

I think it is better if instructional videos start off by playing the song or riff being taught FIRST. I really hate a bunch of jabbering and then a going step by step before getting a sense of what the thing should sound like.
Sort of like reading a book word by word very slowly..the essence of the "whole" is lost.
You are not the only one who does this.
Start by playing the song. Then break it down. Finish by playing the song slow, then reg. speed...THAT'S the way to teach.

Why don't you play the song once from start to finish, so we know how it is supposed to sound. Or do you want us to listen to you, then put on the Johnson CD, then go back to you, then put on the Johnson CD, etc.?
