I'm part of the Little Sunshine Playhouse. I love working here, Reggio Emilia is a very interesting and captivating approach to learning. I have learned a lot of ways to teach and guide children in their early years... Nature , creativity and social emotional development combined. what an awesome way to impart to children.

I absolutely love working at LSP- a Reggio Emilia based school. I find this model where we provoke thought rather than constantly provide the knowledge for the children to be truly valuable. I have seen children thrive under this style of teaching more than at other centers I was at. I also love brining the nature indoors for the kids! The best part is, the kiddos love it too!

Working at a Reggio Emilia based school is amazing! This video really explains how important it to let children lead the way! As a teacher, I love observing what my children are interested in learning and providing them the tools to expand their knowledge.

Ive worked in ECE for 5+ years now, and this is the first I have heard of Reggio Emilia. LSP has given me a new form of teaching young minds and its changed my approach on teaching children all thanks to Reggio Emilia!(: I think this is an amazing approach and I love how it inspires children to be different and to dig deep into using their imagination and to be unique in many different ways.

Before working at LSP I was not familiar with the Reggio Emilia approach. Now I can say I love this approach. I love that children are learning from their experinces, exploraion, and each other, its a collaborative journey! Everyday I find myself learning alongside the children! This approach is a more enjoyable and exciting way of learning, the children seek their own answers instead of the teacher just providing the knowledge! This video was great, it provided a clear insight on what this approach represents!!

I am a preschool teacher at Little Sunshine's Playhouse and Preschool in Willowbrook and I can say that I definitely learned a lot from these three Reggio Emilia-inspired videos. I was inspired by the idea that as teachers, we are considered a co-learner and collaborator not just an instructor. When I think of it this way, I realize that I am learning with the child and also from the child. These videos also helped me to understand that their environment acts like a third teacher in that they are using their five senses of touch, sight, smell, hearing, and taste with the reggio based activities to develop their brain. Very helpful video!

In my experience as a Reggio Emilia inspired teacher, I found this video very helpful and true to everything I have learned while teaching with this approach. The Reggio approach is the most natural way to teach young children, and it really helps them to be able to learn more. The best part is that as a teacher I am learning right beside my students (instead of just instructing) and learn at least one new thing every day I am with my kids at school.

Before working at LSP I was not very familiar with Reggio Emilia. Boy was I so excited to join a school that was based on this type of curriculum and learn much more about Reggio! There is something just so comforting about this style and the familiarity the items you use in teaching brings. When I joined my toddler classroom I could not wait to implement this style and come up with new lessons each week! The possibilities are endless and it is so interesting to see how students learn using this approach!

This video really inspires me. I cant wait to add more collaberative activity and add more langage activities. I have learned so much from lsp to get really creative and use everything and anything as an opportunity to understand, explore and adapt.

I started about a month ago, and i was scared on how to approach kids in a classroom. I've gotten much help with other teachers and videos at home. This video helps piece everything together in terms of that. Kids are very observant and it's important to see which way is best that they learn and can communicate. That way it's easy for an educator to create something for them to learn from.

I love the Reggio Emilia Approach. I do believe that children are Capable of Constructing their own learning. The Reggio Emilia approach views young children as individuals who are curious about their world and have the powerful potential to learn from all that surrounds them. I love to see a Childs face when they create their work from loose parts. Children learn best when they use their own imagination The teachers primary role is to learn along side our children. I know that is hard because we are so use to being in control of the learning environment .We have to learn how to sit back and allow our children to teach us.
