items going through portals load chunks, so im pretty sure as long as your belts are constantly full of buckets and throwing them through the portal it should be loaded anyway, might need some testing and also a way to get rid of excess lava to prevent overflow too.
@@UbersweMinecraft yeah its a vanilla mechanic so it should be decently documented, its the same mechanic vanilla chunkloaders use, im sure theres a video or website out there that says the timing youd need and im sure the same would work with create mechanics
@@UbersweMinecraft Yeah each time an item goes through it loads the other side for 15sec, so as long as you are filling a bucket every 15secs you should be fine.
The Chuck Loader for the second method (Lava Buckets From The Nether) is NOT necessary, since this method already IS essencially a chunck loader. There's even a BENEFFIT in NOT putting a chunck loader in that building: When your tanks becames full, the buckets will all stop at the drain, and the machine will stop throwing buckets to the Nether, essencially auto-disabling the chunck loader and saving process power of your world. When you start using that lava, the buckets will be drained and the machine will continue it's process, throwing buckets to the Nether and re-activing the chunck loader. It was not inttended, but it is genius. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Edit: I commented it AFTER I build the machine, so I'm not just thinking all that, I've really tested it out

I played bedrock edition with no mods on Consol for 10 years and now I own a PC and have moved over just because of mods and I’m struggling to understand most of what I’m seeing or getting any of it to work as intended.

Yes, I think so, I didn't know that this was a thing when I made the video. For me it wasn't working so I added the chunk loader. Maybe if I built everything closer to the portal it could work without it.

Check if you placed the trap door or partial block on the inside or outside. It may be easier if you try it with stone instead of trapdoors or copycat panels.
hey so i am having trouble with the bottomless supply one basically when i try to drain it from the bottom it displays that it isnt a bottomless supply but when i try to fill it back up it says its an infinite supply so it doesnt let me fill it
Make sure your hose pulley goes all the way to the bottom and is at the lowest point. You can also try filling some additional blocks of lava with buckets at the top to make it more than 10000. In the settings for Create you can also try toggling the "Fill past infinite" setting to allow you to fill more than 10000 blocks.

I have done it many times and is a common feature of create. Make sure your hose pulley is all the way to the bottom and that you don’t have a modpack that changes the behavior.
It could be multiple reasons. First thing I would check are the conditions on your schedule. You could set a timer in addition to the fluid required. If the station in the nether isn’t chunk loaded it could be that the train never fills up.

I have done these things in survival so it's definitely doable. One thing I noticed after making the video is that I tweaked the create settings a bit in this modpack where it allows me to keep filling an infinite pool. This is something that can either be changed via the configuration interface in-game or if you edit the create toml settings. Setting should be called "Fill Infinite".

I feel like the most obvious one to me that you left out is a cobblestone generator that converts the cobble into lava.

It requires blaze cakes to fuel however, which takes netherrack to make, and you can’t farm netherrack with only the create mod on its own
U can farm basically anything u just need to create the recipe for it and i just checked i can farm netherrack lol

dripstone lava farms are borderline slow because of random ticks i want to cry.
I cant place lava bucket on the corners, like it seems not a full single block. I think it didnt work now.

@@mblmblmbl It allows you to fill move than 10000 blocks, usually if you only fill exactly 10k you will have an uneven surface in your lava pool
