- Das andere grosse Geläute im Zürcher Stadtteil Oerlikon besticht durch seine grosse Klangkraft, gerade wegen der schönen grossen Glocke. Trotz ihrer für den Giesser typischen leichten Rippe ist sie sehr grundtönig und fundiert das Geläute sehr gut. Im Normalfall läuten am Sonntag nur 3 Glocken aufgrund Nachbarschaftsbeschwerden und dies auch nur 5min. Ausnahmsweise durfte ich alle Glocken läuten und dies 10min.

Finally another version of one of my favorite bell peals in Zurich. The inside decor of this church building is fabulous. And so are the bells! However, the changing of clappers and ringing wheels for new ones seems to have become an obsession with the Swiss-German maintenance firms since there is so much more money to be made. In certain cases, the sound of the bells is bettered but in other ones, all of that money is uselessly spent. In Germany, one does not witness such lavishness. By the way, a super Video once again!

Do all 5 bells still ring out on Saturday evenings at 7pm for the traditional City of Zurich fantastic ringing symphony?

Es erinnert etwas an eine Eschmann-Anlage wegen der ähnlichen Kronen und vorallem wegen den Jochen. (Diese könnten ja tatsächlich aus Rickenbach b. Wil sein).
Ja das ist klanglich schon außergewöhnlich schön. Aber Czudy in den 1960er Jahren war eben eine Bank. Da kann man eigentlich nichts Schlechtes erwarten.
Die Läutwinkel machen hier aber auch einen grossen Unterschied.
Oh, hat „Muff“ erkannt, das ein tiefer Läutwinkel nicht die Welt bedeutet? ^^
Die Erkenntnis kam erst dieses Jahr soweit ich mitbekommen habe. ;) Die Glocke läutet noch auf der gleichen Höhe wie vor dem Tausch.
