This game by Psikyo has so much potential in tournament competitive fighting. Playing against friends is so much fun. This game is all about timing your attacks and counter attack. Everything is done by holding a punch an releasing the button while you hold a direction to execute a special move. I say clean the gameplay make better looking sprites and bring the game it back. Online woyld be so much fun.
Yeah, their inspiration for a lot of the characters are pretty obvious. Anthony = Andy Hug, the sumo wrestlers had a lot of their sprites based on E Honda, Shinsaku was based on Sagat, the Cyborgs were based on the main character and villain from Terminator 2, etc.
Seems inspired by the K-1 fighting tournaments that started in 1993. This game is from 1994. Anthony from the game is clearly based on Andy Hug. The cyborgs in the game have similar shin guards as in the old Pancrase events that started in 1993. One of the muay thai fighers in the intro movie is Ramom Dekkers, who was a superstar in 1993.

It's not a very fair game. You have to throw everything but the kitchen sink at your opponent before he even starts flinching, while the opponent just has to touch you slightly even once to drop you.

So the final boss of this "super realistic fight game" is... a grizzly bear that does hurricane kicks and dragon punches. Nice.

JohnSTF72 nope. This is a really fun game and a refreshing aproach to fighting after so many SFII styled games. It's a blast for 2players, also.
Even with a cheat you're only winning by time. You might as well just put he controller down and wait for time to expire.
