I have been in this situation for 16 years and came from a family of DV. Just started watching the show and have found her story to be somewhat off myself. Money can’t skirt the laws in place with a broken jaw going to the er. You don’t fall down the steps. Even if you can do that how do you tell your friends all that and expect them to be ok with everything. No.. that’s not how it works. She also knew Russell was working on litigation with the magazine because they thought Lisa had something to do with leaking stories about them. Kyle never said a word about it. There are hospital records about her very serious eye injury. She also wasn't spending "his" money, it was actually "their" money, she was his wife. I have similar attitudes of "denial" from the family of my late husband who was an abuser. It's like being abused twice and I'm glad Taylor has the support of her new partner. She's done amazing work to highlight the issue of DA which affects 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men.

He only assaulted me when I was pregnant.....and I had 2 boys....18 months of utter HELL. When I again fled to another State for 9 months, his parents begged my mom for my number & she gave in. Needless to say, I returned and 2 days later he shot me in my foot in a drunken stupor & told a relative “next time it will be between her eyes”. His parents forced me to go to the Prison authorities and tell them I’m withdrawing.....My hands were tied, the Attorney General refused. He was admitted for “evaluation”.....I took my boys and got out of that 7 yr marriage........for the sake of my kids. Don’t ever judge if u didn’t walk in Taylor’s shoes.....my heart ached for her right up to Russel’s death....I could read between the lines as I been in a narcissistic marriage.🥺🥺🥺🥺

This is exactly what happened to me. My once loving husband changed. He became dark and did horrible things. All our friends saw it. No one supported him in his actions. But his family hundred a miles away that he saw maybe once a year, he calls and spins all his bad behaviour on me and because they don't know any better they all start slandering me. It's terrible. I tried to tell them not to take sides. Yntil.it all comes out. But they made choices. And now they suffer the consequences. I can be the villian. It doesn't change that HUNDREDS of our friends saw who he was. They want to believe him.because they don't know who he became. They only know who he was in the past. Sad situation..

It's really hard to know what happened in that house. I just wonder why he never was abusive to his first wife and why his son says that Taylor was the abuser in the house. Why Taylor got her first bruise after she left him. I don't think he was all innocent but I really think there is two sides to this story and we only heard Tylors story.

We wanted to blame others. Ultimately, we knew that he intentionally took his life. It’s one of the worst things that’s ever happened to our family. No goodbye. No note. Nothing. Suicide is heartbreaking 💔

This sister has NO idea what she is talking about. I was married to a narcissist just like Russel for 7 yrs of hell until I fled overnight and filed for divorce. He only assaulted me when I was pregnant.....and I had 2 boys....18 months of utter HELL. When I again fled to another State for 9 months, his parents begged my mom for my number & she gave in. Needless to say, I returned and 2 days later he shot me in my foot in a drunken stupor & told a relative “next time it will be between her eyes”. His parents forced me to go to the Prison authorities and tell them I’m withdrawing.....My hands were tied, the Attorney General refused. He was admitted for “evaluation”.....I took my boys and got out of that 7 yr marriage........for the sake of my kids. Don’t ever judge if u didn’t walk in Taylor’s shoes.....my heart ached for her right up to Russel’s death....I could read between the lines as I been in a narcissistic marriage.🥺🥺🥺🥺

I think Taylor lied about the extent of abuse if there really was any. I think Taylor’s injuries more than likely came from herself falling over, downstairs etc whilst drunk. I saw her lie too many times on the show to trust what she says after about anything. And while watching her on the show it was so clear that she was constantly attention seeking with the other women. Even Camille called her out on her lying. I do believe she is a narcissist and was there only for the money whilst trying to fund herself another man and social climb. It fits what we saw about her. I feel very sad for Russell that he was treated on the show the way he was. Taylor claims to love him but she made her whole narrative about being an abused woman, on a reality show.
