      @@dwaynebishop9327 all depends on their SP plans! Both is definitely doable especially if they have any inkling of an idea that they can get a Sasaki signing done!

      The more good hitters the better pitches Pete will get to hit the better season he will have!!!

      I think so they can keep some of that cash for the inevitable Vladdy sweepstakes. I wish they’d trade for Alcantara and sign one of the two guys.

    A smart move, is to sign Pete and Bergman to solidify the lineup, if they have any intentions to compete with the Dodgers and now the Yankees. If they sign both of those guys and secure another first or second tier pitcher that move would instantly put them to the top of winning their division. If they let Pete get away, I will not be a happy camper. What’s your thoughts on that?

    Great video, i like with bregman our defense on the left side would be the best in the league with him and lindor, hes acontact type hitter, hoping we brinv back pete and sign bregman, that would be great lineup!

    Why not sign both Pete and Bergman to 3 years deals with opts outs. Giving them both a chance to hit the market for bigger paid days. Right now, it seems like the market is not working in their favor. That might be the best move forward for both.

    that would be creative to get both let Pete and Vientos rotate and play 1b/DH between them . Pete could play 100 games at 1st / 62 games at DH and Vientos could play 100 games at DH / 62 games at 1st or something like that

    Lindor has 7 more yrs and he is at age 30...sign Bregman to 5 or 6 yr deal to play along side Lindor...best left side in baseball...

    How can you 3:04 blame the Mets for looking to move on from a very greedy Pete Alonso. They should work hard on signing Bregman and Santender and forget about Alonso. He has brought this on himself.

  • @brucemarmy8500
    @brucemarmy8500 18 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    Plate discipline is Alex Bregman and Juan Soto type baseball. And we need plate discipline thru out the line up. For that reason alone, I'm thumb up on Bregman. Alonso is a must to resign. With options, fine. Then, all our young guns on rotation to spell our older players and get game time. Cream will rise to the top.

  • @brianchu3317
    @brianchu3317 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Given the two I think the Mets are smarter to sign Alonso to a short deal. They need a big bat to help protect Soto. A short team deal will allow the Mets to go after Vlad Jr next year. Alonso can then move to DH.

    I doubt Bregman becomes a METS player...I do see the METS re-signing Pete...And I do see the METS trading for Vladdy Jr before Opening Day 2025...Vladdy Jr has a $$$#, he doesn't want to stay in TOR and Jayz get nothing if Vladdy Jr plays out 2025 as a Blue Jays player...Steve Cohen meets Vladdy's $$$# and heads everyone else off at the pass vs. a post-2025 season free agency competition for Vladdy Jr

    I'm 66, I been watching BB for a long time, we most definitely need better D at 3rd & 1st, I'm not counting anyone money, I just want Steve Cohen, to get what we need to bring Championships to Queens, my hometown. Just don't trade Acuna, that's my wish. I love Big Pete, but he needs to sharpen up at 1st and at the plate, swinging at sh$t thrown at the dugout, get back to seeing the ball is why no teams is jumping at you as a FA, Let this be motivation to back to form, Juan Soto will be a be help to Pete, signing Alex, I'm good with that too.

      Mets have championship caliber aspirations…. Worrying about a guy who can hit the ball well wherever he plays in the field (or DH’s) is not something I’m concerned with at all. Get good players in the door and it will be figured out is how I look at this if they want to make a run at Bregman.

      @@TrueMetsTalk Pete is on the decline.....the name on the front is more important than the one on the back. Being sentimental is not being honest nor objective. I don''t know about Bregman , but i would not sign Pete. Vlad is on the horizon, and Cohen can outbid anyone. Why other than the homegrown sentiment would you sign him.
