Disagreed with the cons weighing the pros, for computer science Virtual University is better than any I know. Why? It promotes self studying, it makes you take the research approach rather relying on classmates or professors. You have to do absolutely everything yourself and nobody is there to help you. If you actually study the subjects and not just pass them for the sake of completing the degree, you will be a well polished engineer. However, if you're quite the social animal then other universities may serve your purpose well. Virtual university is for highly focused people. Remember folks, it's not about the institution it's about your will to study under any circumstances. Good luck!

I am a pass-out from VU and I completely disagree from his statement only con is that you will not develop a good communication and presentation skill, technically you will be better than other universities pass-outs because when you will solve problem yourself rather than the help of your fellow students or professors you will have a better logic building capability. And you will learn from industry giants because they only have to record once.

I am doin MS computer science from VU ,
agar app bilkul fresher hain aur life ka koi experience nhe hai koi bari responsibility nhe hai fees ka issue nhe hai to uni chaly jao aik acha experience mil jayega gathering hai q k ye cheezain bhi zaroori hain life mai uni experience lena , aur job to ap apnay skill polish kro shuru se hi to milegi job se BS ka MS ka talluq nhe wo skill pe milti hai.
aur agar responsibility hai ghr ki fees ka bhi bara issue hai q k sirf fees nhe roz ka ana jana k kharcha bhi hota hai to ye bhi sochna, baaki agar degree leni hai to VU ajao lekin self learner hona zaroori hai paper asaan hain thora parh k achy num lesakty ho lekin self learner hona zaroori hai.
baaki skill to yahan bhi khud hi polish krny hongy apko agar chahty ho k jesay hi degree complete ho to skill polish hua hoga to job achi milegi wrna wohi 25-30k se start krna parega beshak VU se degree lo yaa kisi aur uni se.
Bhai paper hard nhi hoty kia?? Or study kese krni hoti hai?

Paper hard se mtlb ye hai k paper lambay lambay nhe hoty agar ap k concept clear hai to ap asaani se paper nikal lengy pass hona asaan hai q k mcqs bhi kaafi hoty hain already aik do files apnay krli to usi mai se 80% mcqs hojaty hain, lekin parhna apne khud hai TH-cam pe bohat saary channels bny huay hai wo apki preparation short lectures upload hain unko ap dekho preparation hojayegi.

The Mid semester examinations (Spring 2023) will carry a Maximum/Total of 38 marks and total duration of the paper will be 60 minutes.
The Mid semester examination paper will comprise of two sections:
Section A: Objective (22 marks)
Section B: Subjective (16 marks)
Section A (Objective) will contain 27 MCQs out of which best 22 MCQs will be considered for grading.
Section B (Subjective) will contain two types of subjective questions, i.e., Three questions of 3 marks each and three questions of 5 marks each. Student must attempt at max two questions from each of the two given types.
Fall 2022 Final Term Examinations: Paper Pattern
You shall attempt maximum 40 questions out of the given 50 questions.
The total duration of the paper will be 90 minutes and total marks of the paper will be 60.
There will be 40 MCQs out of which best 33 MCQs will be considered for grading.
There will be six (6) questions of 3-marks each out of which best 4 will be considered for grading.
There will be four (4) questions of 5-marks each out of which best 3 will be considered for grading.
Total questions given in each question type and their respective marks is shown in tabular form below:
20 % quiz , 20% midterm, 60% final term.
Final term mai 40 mcqs 7 ki choice hoti hai 33 attempt krny hoty hain, short question 6 hoty hain 2 ki choice hai 4 attempt krny hotay hain 3 marks each.
Long question 4 mai se 3 attempt krny hain 5 marks k.
Final term total 60 marks, 30 passing marks.
33 mcqs 1 marks each.
4 Short question 3 marks each.
3 long question 5 marks each.

I don't agree with Ehmad bhai on this. 3 4 universities ko chhor ky bakio me admissions lena bilkul bekar he. Un sy VU zyada better option he. I have been teaching in different universities for almost half a decade.
