I toured with an SB-1 throughout Europe and a lot of Fender people kept asking me if it was active and I was like no, it's the final Leo creation of the P Bass.
After your review of the SB-2 I wanted to get one. I wanted it with tone control however which would have been the SB-2T. After watching this comparison however I will go without tone control. It should match perfectly with my P-Bass which is a MusicMan Cutlass. Thankyou Kevin ! 👏🏻⭐️🎶🇦🇺

As you know I love my SB1’s but the purity of a fender P is just awesome. I have both also. They both sound fantastic
SB2 🏆 win !

Awesome! Excellent choice, I think. I was hoping to show the SB-2 would be a complement to the PBass.
The sb-2 sounds better IMHO...even though i'm a die hard fender guy...but the g&l is very balanced and open sounding.
Both has same strings?
Yes, both were strung with D'Addario Chromes, 45-100
Did you end up selling this SB-2? I bought an SB-2 recently and just found this video and it's exactly that finish and pickguard.
I’m learning about basses and Leo sold fender in the 50s and founded G&L so on principal I’m leaning toward G&L but that p bass I like the sound of.
To be accurate, Leo sold Fender in the 60s.
The G&L is nice
