Ghana we have to apologize to Osargyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and Africa . I am Ashanti but sometimes Ashanti’s are Ghanas problem.
If Nkrumah was selfish and wanted it for himself he would’ve agitated for the total liberation of African Continent.
Nkrumah was ahead of his time . He got enemy’s among his own people.

It's really sad. That the ashantis are being used by people who don't even have their interest at heart (akyems). Nkrumah wanted a Ghanaian identity and that is what we should all fight for and put tribal sentiments away. Anyone who thinks about tribe only does not want Ghana to move forward

      Great submission.
I want to add that, as Ashantis, we could conjure the unity we needed in removing Denkyira hegemony when it was so needed by wholeheartedly joining hands with all of Ghana to remove imperialism and help create a greater homeland, Ghana, where all the best parts of every tradition would be recognized and flourish.

These losers had wanted to rename the Gold Coast - the original British colony of east, west, Accra and central regions as ''Akanland''.
With the one half of the former German Togo, the Gold Coast morphed into Ghana. So if these horrible JB Danquah and co had objected to the Western Togo's joining the Gold Coast to become Ghana, now, how can we say they found something they objected to from the get go?
We can't twist history the way the JB families are trying to do in order to lay claim to the state as their bonafide property and its resources and use them to enslave the rest of us, especially the Eʋe people whose natives had patriotically contributed to the new nation's building immensely.
Sgt. Atsikpo aka Atippoe's blood, Victor Gbeho's national anthem, Enphraim Anum's second national anthem and many patriotic songs he composed in both Twi and Eʋe, Komla Gbedema's single effort in the US for the financing and building of the Volta dam, and his immense effort to lead the CPP deligently when Kwame Nkrumah was locked up in prison as a ploy by the colonial criminals in order to make Nkrumah unpopular, and enventualky destroy the CPP party, and many, many patriotic Eʋe citizens today's Ghana had deliberately covered up from history.
Can JB Danquah match anyone of the above mentioned patriots in any form for the love of a country?
JB could not even win a seat in his own backyard in the first election.
JB went to prison not for the sake of Ghana politics but rather for his tribal politics, and his readiness to work with the British colonialist criminals for a kick-back and a praise from the Queen who was the leader of these colonial criminal Masonic gangs.
So how ''educated'' and a ''doyen'' of Ghana politics that they're forcing us to believe that he is?
When Europeans forced a lie as history on us the collective blacks, today, we're finding out how much Africans have contributed to history in the form of science and tech, and in the same way the Akyem tribal politicians' effort to discredit Eʋe natives will turn out to be their own disgrace, because we're turning the X'ray machine on them.

I am disappointed by the conduct and tilt of this program. Previously I had enjoyed most talk shows featuring Prof. Anokye as the guest purely for the insightful and rich lessons in History and current affairs. However, due to the obvious leading political questions by the host and assistant, the professor is being exposed as a possible NDC supporter. I don't really care if he actually a supporter, but his nationwide appeal will suffer significantly if he continues to swim along the tide such programs are conducted. Very disappointing in this polarized country.

This guy is wrong about the colonization of Ethiopia. Colonization means when you are conquered and ruled by another country. Ethiopia was conquered and ruled for 6 years by the Italians, that is how Somalia and Somalia land was carved out of Ethiopia by the Italians and British and later on the British and Italians forced the unification of Somalia and Somaliland into one country called Somalia by the UN after their independence. This is a functional illiterate history of myths, legends, fantasy and emotions not based on historical facts.

@@isaacabbanWhen you are putting out content, the basic thing to do is research on the information you put out. Africans go with emotions and myths instead of facts and competence. that is what functional illiteracy means. Practical example is how many educated people we have in Africa but can't operationalise the education they claim to have, that is why Africa has most of the natural resources in the world but is the most dysfunctional and poor, with thousands of the cream of African youth lining up on the coast of Libya to jump into the Mediterranean sea trying to get to Europe, while the Europeans are coming the other way for our natural resources. That is what functional illiteracy looks like.

@@holyspiritmannatv Conquest and occupation is colonisation, like the occupation of France by the Nazi's in WWII. When you are conquered and occupied that is colonisation, because whether its 2 years, 6 years, 150 years or a thousand years, for the period that you are occupied its a colonized situation, because the occupier rules and makes total decisions for that period, even if there is guerrilla resistance going on like in Palestine .
