Great review. I just picked up a kangaroo skin hat from Vic. Market.🤠 I was going to go with the cow leather with croc skin band and 3 teeth but chose the softer, kanga skin. It’s a darker hat too. It’s been on my head since I bought it, I gave it some leather conditioner I got from Bunnings and it’s perfect. 👍🏼
Gracias a su explicación le salvé la vida a mi sombrero. Mi madre me lo dañó con gel de alcohol desinfectante, pensé que estaba arruinado, pero aplicando la grasa para cuero quedó bien. 🤠
+CedricAda Gear and Outdoors Yeah, that'd be it, often they are just cheapies and the finger tips wear out pretty quickly. I chucked about ten pairs in the washing machine recently because they had herbicide on them. I knew it really wouldn't be good for them, and as expected they went all crispy as they dried, but I rubbed some conditioner in and they are arguably now better than new.
+CedricAda Gear and Outdoors I'll have to keep an eye out for them. I remember hearing somewhere, most probably TH-cam (Wranglerstar?) that the leather in some cheaper gloves is stretched before it is cut and stitched, hence their tendency to shrink if they are getting wet and drying out, but that you can also get better full grain? leather gloves that are more stable when exposed to hard conditions/ neglect. I think some of the fire gloves I've used are this type as they stay supple, with zero care, wet and dry in shit conditions until they eventually wear through. I thought about using them as work gloves, but they go up over your wrist and are quite pricey. To be honest I don't wear gloves as often as I should, better to grow your own leather... until you cut your finger off that is.
Bahaha💓🐶😂😂😂 "this idiot"💓😂 I was looking for how to remove sweat stains... Haha But I love the waterproof thing... I WISH I'd done THAT when I bought it in Alice, in 2019... 🇨🇦

Kangaroo Leather Hat, Beeswax Leather Seal and a glimpse of the old Hills Hoist. Ticking all the boxes for being true blue Austrayan!!!

Thanks for the information and the laughs:)
Using leather conditioner on work gloves was a recent revelation to me, I don't know why never thought of it earlier.
I think they seem so disposable that you woudlnt worry, but when you've got a nice pair its good to care for em!

What's the name of the two dogs?
The yellow retriever is Cedric, and the husky is Ada. And so a channel name is born :)
