Hi, cool video. I've noticed that in many videos you advise working on one or two skills at most. and the question is: if I master these skills to automatism without thinking and want to start working on new skills, will my previous skills be able to remain in my muscle memory or will I not forget about them?
Thank for this. Music used for this was cool as well, not annoying. What would you say a weekly training schedule should look like for a casual player in their late 30's just looking to get better? I'm currently doing 2-3 training sessions (1-2 hours per session) a week and 1 game, but don't really have a structure
Thanks mate! If your goals are just to casually have fun with the sport without any specific goals or targets, I would say your current schedule sounds good and doesn’t sound like there’s a real need for a structured program. Just spending time with the ball in an intentional way, perhaps even trying to find more games to play in throughout the week (5-a-side, 7-a-side etc) so you can enjoy playing as often as you can.
Professionals are proficient in all areas of the game mate. Depending on your position, having a “specialty” or contribution that is superior can also help you stand out as a valuable player. What that specialty is, is up to you and the skill set you have.
It will improve your technique needed to keep the ball close to you in tight spaces. After you’ve mastered the technique it’s important to practice against opponents also, to learn timing, space, keeping the ball under pressure etc 🤝
Depends on your mechanics really mate. Every footballer has their own style of running, and there’s not a “one size fits all” when it comes to running mechanics as a footballer. What do you feel you’re struggling with?
Hello, my brother. I am an 18-year-old Arab young man. I have a problem with quick thinking and controlling tight spaces. How can you help me? Thank you. I am a new follower of yours. Can you publish translated videos, if possible, so that I can give this channel to his friends?
Mike do you think only by doing plyometrics without sprinting can actually help you to become faster ? i dont have much space for sprinting, but always training plyos.
They can help with “tightening the springs” feeling more explosive off the mark, but ultimate you won’t increase speed without practicing sprints alongside your plyos. I would definitely recommend making the effort to get somewhere with enough space to get into full stride 🤝
How can my football with ball running be very good, like you, how much time should I practice at home every day so that I can improve myself every day❤❤
Don’t put unnecessary time frames on your development mate. Just be consistent with your training & keep it challenging so that you’re always learning and growing 👍
Hi Micheal,I am really struggling right now ,I left a higher division team but left because of my confidence on the pitch and I join a lower division but not getting enough time I want but confidence is slowly getting better ,Do you think that’s good?
Are you able to move sharply with a good grip of the ball in socks? Might be a better option to be barefoot. You don’t want to be going through the motions with these exercises, intensity is important 🤜🤛
@@7mlc Dude, you misunderstood me. I do these workouts by dividing them into 2 hours a day. For example, I do 2 of 10 different workouts for 1 hour in 1 day. Otherwise, it is not something very unusual.
I always try doing your exercise barefooted but then when I play with shoes on they feel the same. Any advice if its better to do the exercises barefooted or with shoes on
Barefoot training once in a while can certainly be beneficial, but remember, you won’t be playing matches barefoot, so getting comfortable playing in the shoes you’ll be wearing in a match is important 🤜🤛
As a soccer player, if you've ever said to yourself, well I don't have two cones so I'm not going to take extra touches.... probably not going to amount to much.
Simply by practicing stepovers mate, then once you’ve got the technique, use them in a match to learn the timing, distance, best scenarios to use them in etc 🤝
