- We welcome Minecraft streamer @dream later in the show but first start off with headlines where Pete Davidson left PETA a expletive filled voicemail, his basketball mixtape dropped, Livvy Dunne rizzing up Baby Gronk and the internet fallout over his dad DMing every person on the internet, Elon Musk taking shots at Taylor Swift, the Mayweather vs Gotti fight going overboard, Kanye’s birthday party, and OF model going off on Zion Williamson, Jared Leto scaling hotels for fun in Europe, Amanda Diaz seemingly confirming her split with Kio, Bryce Hall teasing an upcoming fight and exclusive details on it from Josh, and Bill Murray and Kelis reportedly dating.
We then get into BFFs corner with a special Josh Mug of the Week, Dave and Kyrie going at it and agreeing on a 1 on 1 basketball game, Bri’s Mr. Beast video finally getting released, Theo Von making comments about Bri on his pod, a drunk fan thinking she met Dave, and an Eras tour jacket update.
We then are joined by Dream who reached out to come on after he saw Dave tweet about him courtside at the Miami Heat game. We get into why he put the mask back on, the logistics of wearing it in public, his origins of a streamer and how he managed to get so big, his face reveal and if he regrets how it went down, his move to music including his new song “Until I End Up Dead”, why he gets shipped so much with GeorgeNotFound and if he does consider himself bi, and what he thinks about Twitch’s new ad restrictions and whether he seems them falling off in the future.
We finish with a game of “Start One, Bench One, Cut One” where Dream picks his favorite and least favorite streamers out of some star studded groups.

He should’ve led with that though i.e why he was asking it being that someone potentially less educated on the different indications of autism could’ve interpreted it as an insult especially being interrupted like that. Dave cleaned it up well tho. That moment was lacking in social cues that I would think Dave was the one w autism

We can normalize it by discussing it in general conversation but asking someone abrasively while they’re mid sentence could b interpreted negatively by them and make them feel like they’re being put on the spot especially if they’re uninformed abt indications of autism and just assume that they’re being asked bc they seem slow. Dave could’ve led with Dream appearing to b gifted / smart and then proceeding w the question but asking the way he did was intrusive and rude lol however dream handled it admirably well

I’m also part of the reason Heat Waves by Glass Animals blew up on the internet, which directly inspired the creation of the DNF fanfic. It’s hilarious how Dream and George are embracing the ship! Best episode of BFFs by far, I love how fast dream talks because my ADHD keeps up so nicely. It’s so satisfying. And “the guest” actually talking the whole time and keeping the conversations instead of just sitting and letting them keep asking. LOVE
It's great to hear that Dream had this mask in the works for a long time! The video was over the top so I was so sure that it wasn't due to the hate that he was masking up again, but it's reassuring to hear his explanation.

Re: Dream's music,
People have different tastes and I understand his new song may not be everyone's cup of tea (I personally think the melody's catchy and distinctive enough for the song to become a hit), but I feel like the hosts missed a golden opportunity to delve deeper into Dream's character by ignoring the lyrics and focusing solely on how the song sounds. After all, "Until I End Up Dead" is a homage to Dream's friend & fellow youtuber, the late Alexander "Technoblade".

About his music, I agree with you. I'm not usually a fan of pop music (more into electro & rap) but his beats are somehow really good and the lyrics are simple but deep (like the Mask & Until I End Up Dead one). Ok sorry if no one's asking, I'll head out.

Yes adhd and ocd are very common to experience together. And it’s very difficult to stop those thoughts for those w adhd like myself. It can become overwhelming at times. But when set in the right place u can really thrive too.
Yeah, if something pikes dopamine in a person with adhd’s brain, it will stimulate my brain just right, and my brain will try and find that stimulation again, and it makes my whole life based around that thing/interest until it doesn’t balance out the hormones in my brain, in the form of hyper fixations, and they are so extreme
Also the different between autism and adhd can be complicated because there’s a lot of overlapping (as in common symptoms, and as in a lot of people have both)

Dream's hyperfixations, as someone who has had a 4-year hyperfixation on Dream, can be insane to deal with. I once watched this man play Crab Game (an indie video game based on the TV show Squid Game) for 13 hours straight, every day, for two weeks in a row.
