- You guys thought I forgot about this game? Nope. We are back with the last DLC- Trunks the Warrior of Hope of the game Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. We've played every DLC so I can't just ignore this one. Trunks is training with Gohan because Android 17 and 18 are making a scene all over the earth and they are the only one who can protect the city or the whole Earth from their attacks as Goku is already dead because of that deadly virus. I rant about the DBZ show a lot in the video whenever I get the chance so its better to just ignore me at those moments lol. Let me know what you think about the episode in the comments. Enjoy

Recap of the story for BBS:
1) Dragon Balls can't revive those who died by a natural cause
2) This Trunks will grow up and head back to past seeking help, so in short he is the future trunks and so they can't call an trunks from future obviously right now.
3) Also they can't revive anyone now coz Piccolo and Kami are dead so Dragon balls will turn to stone coz they are linked to their creators.
3) This is the timeline of the black goku also which will happen in the very far future

Shub I tell you that this is the future trunks timeline. So this is not at all related to the our main saga where Goku goes SSJblue or meet the gods and angels. It is totally different from the battle of the gods that you have played several months ago. Therefore, here you can't see Vegeta Blue there .in the future trunks saga.

This is regarding your first point,earth dragon balls can't revive people more than once ig that's why they couldn't revive Goku after cell games.but they could have used the namek ones to revive him but probably they didn't know how to reach there or some other reason.
But piccolo is also dead they don't have dragon balls

For bbs, This is the future drunk's time line, HE IS THE FUTURE TRUNKS, (kid currently).That's not the actual time line of DBZ, Goku and Vegeta werent able to survive in Future trunks time line only Gohan and Trunks were able to survive and you are playing in THAT time line,

Hmmm for you who was thinking why vegeta didn't use blue, this timeline is during cell saga, where the only form existed was ssj1.and androids were much more powerful than ssj1, that's why all the z warriors except trunks died in the alternate timeline. Trunks time travelled to the original db timeline to give goku the cure of his heart disease and trained with vegeta and achieved ascended ssj form and fought along gohan and z warriors to defeat cell. Then he went to his own timeline and killed the androids

This was in the future the androids have been already defeated in the past just remember when trunks came to meet goku and tell him the news after goku returned after fighting freeza. He gave him a medicine for the heart virus and goku didnt die. And you said why didnt Vegeta use the ssj blue. He didnt use it because he didnt have it because it was the future when goku died and they didnt meet beerus and whis. The androids are no match for ssj blue vegeta. He just didnt have it.
And yeah they didnt use the dragon balls because in this timeline there was no dende and kami fused with piccolo and he became the guardian of earth and as piccolo died there are no dragon balls.

The DLC you are playing is based on an alternate reality which is around the time when an attack of androids in the cannon series happened. SO basically in the main anime, the androids turned good at the end then the manji Buu saga happened and continued to Super. But in this reality, the dragon balls are destroyed thus you cannot revive the dead. Time Travel is not possible anymore. Dragon Balls is having multiple timelines due to them traveling in time which was stopped by beerus by destroying any means of time travel in Super. The show on the TV was based on a different reality which continues but this alternate reality was not, and this DLC is based on an alternate reality. And you might wonder how the Balls can be destroyed, so if the guardian of the earth dies the Balls turn into stone, and there is also a time gap before you can again use the Balls as the Dragon's Balls have less stamina than mine so they would take some time to be Balls again from stones, But the creator of those balls and guardian of the earth is dead so no more dragon's balls. As you said there are alternate ways but those are not possible in this timeline as Goku is dead and other means to achieve other ways are also destroyed.

this dlc takes place in a different universe or timeline where goku died due to his heart problem that he got in yardrat , so before gohan could train with his dad, goku died and gohan had to go for super saiyan all alone and by the time when trunks was born , vegeta also died therefore bulma never wanted truks to be a super saiyan so as to protect him, but spoiler ahead, when gohan is killed by the androids further in the dlc, trunks becomes super saiyan for the first time.

This is the actual main timeline if the DBZ did worse in value this would be the story if it did great the trunks would come from this timeline to other timeline which we call "present timeline" but the time travel broke the original trunks time line to two seperate timelines where one time line Goku survived and everyone were op , trunks took time to become super Saiyan because he didn't had required rage and he didn't get trained hard as Gohan did by piccolo that too his dad is the first one to achive and mastered super Saiyan and he is the first one who got to see the transformation if trunks didn't help or came late before chichi gets attacked or gets killed Gohan will go super Saiyan 2 or 3 but it's just a myth and getting blue is not easy you need god ki unlocked by ritual to two saiyans or one but other trains with the god ki until they find the flaws of the god ki and get more energy it's impossible in present due to no 6 saiyans are there to for ritual of super Saiyan god, Androids have infinite energy.
