I need some advice! :( I've been told more than once to "feed my dog" by strangers on the street and it literally breaks my heart. He's a 2 year old husky malamute mix, and e weighs about 80 lbs, but when he turns a certain way you can see his ribs.. His bowl is always full (some dogs will eat til they are stuffed but I know huskies usually don't) some days he only wants one bowl - other days 3 or 4. I feed him a lot of vegetables too (safe for dogs) but how can I get him to gain more weight? I feel like I'm doing everything I can, he is so spoiled, all day we take care f him. But then those few people can make you feel like crap! Any suggestions? You can see him in a video on my channel called "spoiled dog vlog" but it was a year ago.

It's pretty normal to be able to see the ribs of a dog when he stretches or turns a certain way. Talk to your vet, but I wouldn't pay too much mind to what strangers say. Most pet dogs are ridiculously overweight so people's expectations are a little bit off. You are supposed to be able to see the waist of the dog and feel the ribs when you gently run your hand along his sides.

Shelby is such a generous girl. She does not hate it when Memphis always steal her food. She is so caring. All your girls are good, but I really really love Shelby for being so generous. Well I guess she learnt that from you :P

I want to get a dog but i can't decide between those 3 Husky, German Shepherd or Malinois. I like them all even tho i would prefer to get a Husky possibly one who has blue eyes like me but i hear that Huskies aren't loyal are bad guard dog they treat everyone the same family/friends and strangers and that you should never let them out without a leash. So i dunno what to pick.
Corvonored you should get a German shepherd! I have two and they are super loyal and treat strangers very different if they know there is a intruder they will attack! German shepherds are very very easy to train and are such lovable dogs! in my opinion you should get a German shepherd! but I hope your happy with any dog you get! have a great day!
Corvonored You shouldn't really let any dog out without a leash. but out of my experience Huskies are great dogs as well as German shepherds they are really loving and loyal. idk where u got that from XD

But still can't make my mind i love all three of them. Gonna search for more info and such, and wait before i pick one maybe see them irl. Have a great day too.

Kaykmeh I see alot of people with trained dogs who walk without a leash and dog listen and follow the owner very well so i don't know, i'm not gonna walk the dog out everytime with a leash i would like to run or walk with it without a leash once in a while. Alot of people said that they aren't that loyal, they would treat any stranger you meet on the street or burglar and such the same way they will not protect you, and if you ever let them out without a leash they would problably run away and sometime they will cameback and listen to you.

I recently just started watching your videos especially your treat videos! I noticed your dislike and struggle with the molasses and just wanted to inform you that I myself was like that a few years back. Hahahaha! So a good friend of mine actually told me to dip the measuring item that I was using with oil!! Usually for my dogs I dip my utensil with a bit of canola oil which is fine by dogs but if I have any fish oil, or flax seed oil or sunflower oil I would use it. If you do use fish oil or chicken oil I do suggest you have a separate molasses jar for you and another for your dogs! (Just so you don't have to have a fishy or chickeny smell in your own molasses)

I'm wondering if maybe Shelby has texture issues and that's why she needs dips to eat certain foods. I've worked with kids who have texture issues. There are certain foods that they won't eat or need it to be modified in order for them to eat it. Never thought it could be an issue with dogs but it could be.
