When I was a kid reading the comics I always felt Archie and Betty were meant to be , but once I watched all of Riverdale I became a Bughead shipper even though a part of me misses Archie and Betty together as they were my first OTP. 💛❤️
I love that you used a Dawson's Creek voiceover bc it's my all time favorite show but also bc I see some similarities in the show and in the love triangle/square. Personally, I'd like to see Betty be in a triangle w Archie and Jughead. Who I want crying on the couch next to her in the end though is still TBD!

Betty and Jughead may be "cute" to the general public but they aren't good for each other's morale. They feed off of each other in all the ways that makes their morals nose dive. They hurt people together and think it's okay. It's only when Betty with Archie that she really is about "let's investigate this but like the good people we are." They don't hurt people together - they do what they have to but never set out to hurt anyone - and they try to bring that person to justice rather than doing it themselves. The same goes for Archie. He's reckless with Veronica, blindsighted and all too ready to start a fight. It's when he's with Betty that he slows down, takes it all in, and *_thinks_* *_about_* *_what_* *_to_* *_do._* Betty is *_Betty_* with Archie, and Betty is lost with Jughead. Archie is lost with Veronica, but grounds himself with Betty. I can't wait to have an endgame that the two people involved are actually good for each other.

Sure Betty and Jughead have known each other forever, but she didn’t give jughead a second look until Archie was out of the picture. And this was, what? Four episodes later? It’s ridiculous

The writers should take advantage of the actors chemistry and leave them as a strong couple. People will wanna keep watching. Archie is a fuckboy who doesn't care about betty until she was taken.
