It's definitely more commercial, a bit more minimalist, an attempt to recreate Dream Steppin', which was their first "commercial" sounding track. I love that one too. Yes, I would say their album and early singles are thematically and lyrically superior. Not commercial, tho. They are literally a gold mine that only a few of us know about. If they were featured in the mainstream media, they would be considered "the new indie thing" and would gather an overnight cult following. That's just how the game works. I often consider them as one of the main examples that being good at something is not enough to become visible, and these guys are CRAZY good.
