When I started watching the video I started thinking of the one I liked the most and my pick ended up being the same as yours - JEF United's 93 "Sega" kit is brilliant in its use of the club colors and the design with the straight angled green and red invading the sea of yellow. The "Blue blur" with Sega just elevates the overall design into something not only good but iconic. Brilliant unis!
The 1995 Cerezo Osaka pink with the cherry blossoms in a striking design that was missed. It was the teams first season in the J-League but with so few teams in the world wearing pink, it stood out.
The 90's Mizuno kits are iconic. Sagan Tosu color scheme is nice and Cerezo Osaka cherry blossom designs are unique. The Gamba Osaka Umbro home kits have been clean for a long time.
Tokyo Verdy’s 1993 Home Kit! Green kits are often ugly, but the pattern and simplicity of it - super retro! Coca-Cola sponsorship works perfectly too, glad to see it on the list
I love the V-Varen Nagasaki 2018 Home Shirt, the orange and blue just blends in so nice and I love a number on the front of a shirt, it’s a modern shirt but i can see an almost classic design on it and of course the J-League shoulder patch which makes any kit better.
Sanfrecce Hiroshima played against my college in Cornwall when Truro College went on tour, so I would always see the signed shirt from them daily and I loved the shirt!
1996-97 Gamba Osaka kit. Generally blue shirts are very cool and with the Panasonic badge, I think that Gamba Osaka kit is the best kit of the J league history.

I agree with ellis platten j league shirt opinion, there are many unique shirts in J league team of all time. and my favorite J league shirt is Kawasaki frontale Home kit from 2020 to 2021 because I like the pattern of the shirt
My favorite J - League jersey of all time would have to be V-Varen Nagasaki 2018 home jersey, I really like the combination of orange and blue on that jersey
So many great shirts it’s hard to choose a favourite and Ellis mentioned so many greats. For me the Yokohama Marinos 1997/98 shirt is one of my favourites. Addidas in the mid to late 90s we’re unstoppable. Due to the colours design reminds me of France’s 96/97 but for me Yokohama Marinos’s shirt takes it to another level.
My favourite J league football shirt is the 2021 Vissel Kobe away shirt. It’s not so special but I just really like the black base with the white diamonds, and since one of my most favourite players plays there now (Thomas Vermaelen) I really started following the J league and I really fell in love. Really hope I can win the shirt!
I'm a huge fan of the gamba osaka shirts old and new but have recently liked sanfrecce hiroshima shirts, shonan bellmare, shimizu s pulse aswell just so hard to get hold of u agree with Ellis but so many more great shirts out there for this league gamba boy one would have been no. 1 for me 💜💙💜💙

OK, here goes - the 1999 S-Pulse PUMA shirts, the best version of the "map shirts" ever?! The V-Varen Nagasaki Peace shirts come close, too!

Kashiwa Reysol 1996 has to be my favourite. As an Arsenal fan, I do love a yellow kit, and this one effortlessly blends the yellow in with the white, combined with the black stripes going down the shirt and the centred Adidas logo, its got to be the best.
Great video! J-League usually has a bunch of banger unis year in and year out but the 90's were glorious! I'll go for something a little bit different and choose the clean and beautiful F.Marinos comemorative kit from the 2016 Yokoham port opening. That Marinos blue slashed by two stripes with the cool use of the player number on the front of the jersey right next to the maker's mark. Really cool!
My fav j league shirt was the yokohama marinos shirt from the year they got taken over by Man City, I managed to get the shirt when it was unreleased from a family friend who worked at Man City at the time and it’s a shame I didn’t know how cool it was back then
The 1993 Verdy kits will always be a favourite & one I really want to get! But being an Urawa fan, gotta go with the 2014 black camo third kit! Absolute beauty. 💯
There are so many to choose from but my personal favourite is the urawa reds away shirt from 2005, such a nice shirt with my favourite nike template and the sponsor Mitsubishi on the front. I posted an earlier comment with links to the picture of the shirt but I think TH-cam auto deleted it because it was an external link.
So much to pick, but Yokohama F·Marinos's 2012 shirt (the first one of their current Adidas deal) is a banger, and the last one to date that used the tricolor combination on the Adidas stripes. Close second, also from F·Marinos, is their 2007 home shirt.
The Gamba shirts do look nice. My favorite shirts are the 2000 and 2001 Omiya Ardija home shirts. I am a sucker for checkerboard design and love the colors. Also doesn't hurt that I am a bit of a fan of the team and the mascot as well.
I think the recent Shonan Bellmare and Ryukyu shirts are brilliant, but of course the classic Gamba Osaka shirts are some of the best shirts of all time IMO.
