Jesus this is by no doubt one of the best ghost fan Thomas stories out there! I love how it starts out very jolly like a normal episode, then completely takes a dark turn. The atmosphere you created in the second half was phenominal! The Crows, the mist, and the rain added to the sinister mood. Though I wish the truck models had the option to manually change face, so you wouldn't get them laughing at the end.
Writing and narrating this was a great pleasure. Its so nice to write a spooky story that doesn't involve ghosts. Sinister and incomprehensible things do occur, not just in the railway, but in our lives. It was nice to be able to adapt this into a Thomas story. Something that isn't done often. Whether it be coincidence or fate, these unexplainable situations have the same sinister and creepy effect as a regular ghost story. I hope everyone enjoyed what me and Shunter accomplished.
Stanley's crew should have been arrested for encouraging Peter's trespassing. Besides, Peter would must likely suffer in the afterlife for trespassing.
It's a shame Peter refused to take heed of Stanley's warnings. As for Stanley's crew, they deserved their punishment for encouraging Peter in that way. This was an excellent story.
Very well done as usual! Dcg12b did an outstanding job as narrator as usual, the writing and film work was done fantastically! I must say you have a knack when it comes down to writing stories about Thomas. I also felt sorry for Stanley for the whole episode. A 10/10 from me!
Wow, that was great. Very well written and filmed. Also a great lesson on what could happen if you trespass. I really like the concept of the truck's tricks having a serious consequence. Wonderful work as always.
"james is off the line! the breakdown train, quickly!" hmm... now where have i heard THAT before? i liked that reference! good job on this episode! the title suits the storyline well! it's also very eerie... good job on this episode! very enjoyable! poor james and poor peter... i have a feeling he may come back as a ghost at some point...
This episode is absolutely remarkable! I speak for all of us when I say that the atmosphere of this artwork is eerily stunning! 10/10! From this video, I see a bright future for your TH-cam career. You, my friend, are great at making extraordinarily amazing stories! God bless your creative soul!
Oh my goodness gracious this has to be the best fan made ghost story ever. After the story ended I stayed silent and still for the whole night that story rocked my world
Well it's not often we get darker Thomas episodes without being really surreal (I.E Ghosts). So it made for a nice change to see a realistic dark story that focused on the dangers of the line. Perhaps a picture of what would later happen was a bit surreal but for the most part the story was believable. It was quite a sad ending but a rather well done episode. It was a nice build up with typical trouble with the trucks and ultimately something that even they would regret. Interesting to see that they aren't completely remorseless. As ever a splendid story and narration from dcgb12. Great work on the adaption too; I like the selection of music, I'm glad you avoided the breakdown theme during the hill struggles etc :)
Serves them right. They were against the rules and encouraged peter to get too close which resulted in his death. If there was a follow up video about stanley's crew then we would know if they do hold a grudge
What an episode this was, i never expected such an extreme ending. Very well written indeed, takes some ideas from one of my favourite charles dickins stories the signalman, and adds its own flavour within the episode from what i observed. The dark theme is very welcoming and allowing a wider range of emotions to be explored of shock, depression and even guilt that could be carried over for future episodes. Overall great execution in both story and narration too, well done to you both.
I think this story was both good and quite a bit scary. It had a certain feel to 'Duncan Gets Spooked' to it. You are sure something is going to happen, but you just don't know what, when, where and how it will happen. Who was the blue tank engine and the red diesel?
Love it, but I think it deserved a little more explanation as to why Peter Dobbs had the same photograph, that he took right before Stanley's trucks hit him, a month before it happened. Like maybe the ghost of a man killed there years before, foreshadowed Peter's death, trying to warn him. As to so that Peter wouldn't end up like him (the ghost) but Peter didn't understand, and therefore ended up like the ghost man. That's just me fantasizing, love the story, and can't wait for new ones
+Logan Owens I wrote it to highlight the sinister situations that can happen on a railway. Not all spooky stories need ghosts. I therefore decided to write a premonition into the storyline, a warning as a unexplainable circumstance. These sort of things do happen, whether they are coincidence or fate. I thought it would be interesting to adapt this into a Thomas story. I hope you enjoyed it all the same.
Oh, boy! This id definitely a first. There may not have been any ghosts in this one, but it was still pretty spooky what happened in this one, especially after the accident. But even though there weren't any ghosts, I can't help but get the feeling that Peter Dobs may be one soon.
It's spelled "Photographic Premonition." James seems a lot more mature in this video. And I like the inclusion of "Oliver Owns Up." Wait a minute! Why didn't the Conductor blow his warning whistle? It worked in "A Close Shave for Duck." Poor Stanley...
Man, this ending is cool. There isn’t a single ghost, and yet there’s themes of murder, death and possibly PTSD. As in what Stanley is feeling. I really quite like this one.
And something similar to the accident in this video happened last summer with UP 844, when a person got too close to the tracks. The person was killed. RIP the one that died.
I like this story's hopefully there coming more question there is a story about thieves? for example: episode 29 John, Vick & the Great Train Robbery by dcg12B
I was freaked when the photo Peter took, but he didn't knew how it ever appeared. When the cars broke free from Stanley I almost shat myself because it's there you realise that photo :O Super great story :) There is a goof though ;) when the Troublesome Trucks are silent then 2 of the boxvan laughs XD or these are just more reckless than the rest of the trucks :p
This video shows why it's important to follow the rules and don't put yourself in danger for the sake of a photograph or video. This was very well written and the narration was amazing. Nice work, will you guys be doing anymore videos like this?
Oh s#**!!! That's dark!!! Yo, I like the appearance of the Warship Diesel, is that a Winston reference? I must say, this puts a new perspective on railway trespassing, particularly that image which served as a 'ghost' for what would happen, damn.
Very nice~ Powerful story :) You've earned yourself the reputation of producing the best supernatural related thomas videos, with dcg12b's excellent story writing :) Still, narration was a bit too quiet at times~
That was Awesome and Sad.Just to Let you know Dcg12's Narration sometimes get's overdrowned by The SFX and Music so i would Turn his Narration up and also you Spelt Kevin Macleod wrong
It would seem as if James knew the trucks were going to play a trick sometime when he felt more confident, but a man killed by a runaway? He should have listened to Stanley. What happened will scar Stanley forever.
a little dark but awesome kinda remidns me how bambi is its not a pleasing ending but its gently enough to have ti good becase of that slight dark thing to go w/
...oh geez, that is cryptic.... in this case, that's a good thing :) Just wish the crew hadn't been such jerks to Stanley for being the ONLY smart one in this unfortunate incident.
Says the guy whose own version of Thomas eventually turned into a big ole vat of crazy juice, especially with the number 3 green engine becoming a (literally) brainless moron and a certain dockyard crane becoming a moustachioed German running gag victim.

Thomas1Edward2Henry3 please do More episodes you are a terrible TH-camr
Thomas1Edward2Henry3 and I are friends and he and I hold a great amount of respect for each other.
And you are a moron. T1E2H3 needs time to make episodes, they aren't done in one minute you know...
Thomas1Edward2Henry3 i assume some of them are very sadistic or something
Thomas1Edward2Henry3 oh hey buddy how are you????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good :3

+dcg12b i loved it and cant wait for the next episode
i love your narration, its really good for these scary stories.
Hey Dcg12b have you ever thought about going pro screen writer or script writter, i absolutly love your stories and your naration.
I enjoyed this a lot. Your narration is always brilliant and I admit you are one of the best ever.
dcg12b Hello
Stanley's crew should have been arrested for encouraging Peter's trespassing. Besides, Peter would must likely suffer in the afterlife for trespassing.
More likely, Stanley's crew would've faced demotion; the driver demoted to fireman, and the fireman demoted to cleaner.
It's a shame Peter refused to take heed of Stanley's warnings. As for Stanley's crew, they deserved their punishment for encouraging Peter in that way. This was an excellent story.
I cannot stop watching this, the writing is spectacular and you produced this very well. Keep up the amazing work Mate :)
These people who make this is amazing 👏🏼⭐️⭐️🌟⭐️⭐️

this was one of the greatest late birthday gifts, Absouletly wonderful, even in present day!
Wow, that was great. Very well written and filmed. Also a great lesson on what could happen if you trespass. I really like the concept of the truck's tricks having a serious consequence. Wonderful work as always.
Wow... an amazing episode and really shocking ending. But very sad too. A unique ghost story without the ghost.
Funny how years later the title is still spelt incorrectly. But the story itself makes up for the error
Loved this story and that is the second time that the trucks had pushed poor James off the rails
Those ballast trucks are now going to be good now, because they don't want what just happened to happen again.😁
You have gotta do another ghost story for Thomas, you're so good at them!
This episode is absolutely remarkable! I speak for all of us when I say that the atmosphere of this artwork is eerily stunning! 10/10! From this video, I see a bright future for your TH-cam career. You, my friend, are great at making extraordinarily amazing stories! God bless your creative soul!

I have to admit this gave me chills every time I watched this and premonition of doing something before it actually happened that is mysterious.
Wow that's some amazing writing, good job
I wonder if Stanley's crew hold a grudge against him after selling them out. though it was their fault.
Serves them right. They were against the rules and encouraged peter to get too close which resulted in his death. If there was a follow up video about stanley's crew then we would know if they do hold a grudge
This was a really well written story. Great job ShunterProductions
This is a really good story, quite chilling. The idea of having a premonition sealing one's fate is scary. Very well done on this production.
DCG12B did an amazing job writing and narrating!!! Good job man!! What a show!
Never really saw Stanley have a angry face before.
Awesome
nice one lad another tale like when I did Doctor Who The Future Years.

Who was the blue tank engine and the red diesel?
+CraneProductions27 They are characters made by warshipNo10 who will be making appearance in future episodes :)
WarshipNo10 made Hamish that's entirely up to him but I think it will remain a private model and will not be publicly released
I love these tipes of stories.
Love it, but I think it deserved a little more explanation as to why Peter Dobbs had the same photograph, that he took right before Stanley's trucks hit him, a month before it happened. THIS WAS THE BEST STORY EVER!!!
Excellent story as always. I like a good suspense every now and again.
This is just as good as the ghost stories. How come Gordan is in his RWS appearance while the rest are in their TV series appearance?
It's spelled "Photographic Premonition."
James seems a lot more mature in this video. And I like the inclusion of "Oliver Owns Up."
Wait a minute! Why didn't the Conductor blow his warning whistle? It worked in "A Close Shave for Duck."
Poor Stanley...

And the fog was pretty thick.

This has to be the most spooky Thomas story out there
great job , a very good sad and scary episode
this is amazing
I enjoyed this episode. Well written and directed and also, isn't that diesel loco Ian at 5:54?
The plot partly reminds me of a Twilight Zone episode of a camera that takes pictures of future events.
Man, this ending is cool. There isn’t a single ghost, and yet there’s themes of murder, death and possibly PTSD. As in what Stanley is feeling. I really quite like this one.
very good, this episode had a really ghostly feel to it.
And something similar to the accident in this video happened last summer with UP 844, when a person got too close to the tracks. The person was killed. RIP the one that died.
Fantastic work again my friend.

lovely episode I agree about the trucks in the beggining
who's that engine in 16:52
+LBSCS Productions Like shunterproductions said it's a character made by warshipNo10 and I think it's Hamish.
+channarith sok OK thank you for telling me :)
I love it
wow! that was amazing so creepy! great job!
This video shows why it's important to follow the rules and don't put yourself in danger for the sake of a photograph or video. This was very well written and the narration was amazing. Nice work, will you guys be doing anymore videos like this?
13:10 my favorite track from Kevin McLeod.
My god, wasnt expecting a ghost story! Very good
Oh s#**!!! That's dark!!! Yo, I like the appearance of the Warship Diesel, is that a Winston reference? I must say, this puts a new perspective on railway trespassing, particularly that image which served as a 'ghost' for what would happen, damn.
It isn't a reference to Winston it will be a character which will be featured in upcoming videos
Ah, very nice, so far I've noticed three OC's, the warship, the blue tank engine, and the green J50.
WOW! now that's a ghost story... about your future a fate for what did the trucks did to themselves... and i feel sorry for him and Stanley...
a number of linesiders here in the usa have been killed recently. thanks for posting this . in the usa there is a program called operation livesaver .
Haunting moral.
5 years on and still a chilling story.
excellent episode cant wait for the next in the series
Even though it was pretty sad, you did a fine job on this video.
Stupendous
16:23 They vowed to mend the error of their ways... except one.
Geez what a story
I know that diesel at 5:54 - 5:56 isn't that WelshCoalProductions' warship model?
+Nickolas Montagnino it's a model made by WarshipNo10
great work done with Dcg12b
Great work
Putting a signal in the middle of the ascend of the hill is just asking for a fatal accident or a few to happen!
way to go Troublesome trucks! ]:(
Skarloey123 pioneered the darker side of TTTE, but ShunterProductions revolutionised it.
Very nice~ Powerful story :) You've earned yourself the reputation of producing the best supernatural related thomas videos, with dcg12b's excellent story writing :)
Still, narration was a bit too quiet at times~
suicidal, suicidal when you say it's over.
I agree with CraneProductions on this one, I too felt like this one was a bit spooky as well as shocking. Was this one meant to be for Halloween?
That was Awesome and Sad.Just to Let you know Dcg12's Narration sometimes get's overdrowned by The SFX and Music so i would Turn his Narration up and also you Spelt Kevin Macleod wrong

Is this at all related to Final Destination and how, in the 3rd movie, the pictures foreshadowed how the characters died?
Could I get download links for Oliver 2014, and small China clay trucks 2014?
That was one of the darkest stories you've ever written +ShunterProductions!!! I was really shocked over Peter's death *SPOILER ALERT*!!!!!!
Thank you :) dcg12b did a splendid job writing this episode. I also snuck a teaser into it as well
ShunterProductions No problem and okay! :)
...oh geez, that is cryptic.... in this case, that's a good thing :) Just wish the crew hadn't been such jerks to Stanley for being the ONLY smart one in this unfortunate incident.

12:03 putting a signal in the gradient, probably wasn’t such a good idea. Trains would probably get stuck like what happened in Gordon’s Hill.
This took an unexpected turn....
Such a dark story.
woah...just...woah...
What are the ballast trucks' basis?
Great story! What inspired it?
How did you make the brake van eyes move?
Please tell me it is not a beginning to a ghost!
I feel really bad for Stanley and the trucks after Peter Dobbes death. But at least the trucks have finally learnt their lesson
