- Hey friends! Kaze no Tani no Naushika is a wonderful song from the movie ”Nausicaä from The Valley of the Wind”. The original song was written by Haruomi Hosono (music) and
Takashi Matsumoto (lyrics). This unique and beautiful arrangement is by Makiko Hirohashi. As you all know, I appreciate her artful arrangements a lot.

Thank you very much for your kind comment! My piano is a Petrof, a Czech piano brand with a long tradition. European pianos are very famous for the qualities you mentioned: Bright and mellow. This piano serves me so well for 17 years now. By the way, check out my Joe Hisashi collection. It is also recorded with this instrument.

@@PianistStefanBoetel oh Petrof is a very good piano Brand👍 I like it, also blüthner is my favourite (maybe too mellow). Petrof is also very heavy weighted (if I remember well) which I like. I think it suits well to your repertoire and playing! I’ll check your collection,thank you! A nice weekend to you too!
@@PianowithPano Thank you Pano! Yes, Blüthner is a secret tip. Have to check them out more. They are very rarely sold nowadays. Yes, the heavy weight is an issue with Petrof. Of course it is good training for the fingers. But this is the only thing I would say they should improve. It is hard on Petrof‘s to get a very ”buttery” sound with fast passages because sometimes the action doesn‘t respond smoothly. It‘s a common issue which Petrof should know. Don’t know why they don’t fix it. However, if you have a very good technician which I have you can reduce these problems to a minimum. Otherwise, this piano is truly a dream and for uprights I would prefer it compared to other famous brands even if their action reacts more smoothly.
@@PianistStefanBoetel wow thanks for these information! Even with this disadvantage (hard action) it sounds magical. I think is the best upright sound I have ever heard, sounds so balanced between the low and high register and also between brillante and soft! Lucky that you have this instrument (and the good technician of course😄)
