Kyoki * sirf tab lagate hai jab pointer declare karna hota hai uske baad use address assign karne ke lie * nahi lagana hota.
Agar fir aage program me us pointer pe rakhe value ko use karna hota hai tab * lagate hai...

p=&a me ,p ko bhi to declare karna hoga tabhi to p ke naam ka space banega jisme 'a' ka address store hoga i.e. 100 store hoga
