The thing about someone answering the phone and saying nothing is really, really creepy. If horror movies were filled with more subtle moments like this instead of horrible CGI and jump scares, maybe they would actually be scary.

+Steven Whenever I get invited to somebody's home that I haven't visited before, I immediately ask where the bathroom is... but don't go. It might not be as creepy as the phone thing, but it sure generates some interesting looks.

You are such a talented man! It doesn't hurt that your voice is hypnotic. Btw, I credit you with my fountain pen obsession. I've collected 3 so far and am loving it. Thanks for your generous contributions to "the community." It's always exciting to see that spinning knife on that richly grained wood table.

My family and I bought 3,000 acres of land on the outskirts of Montgomery, AL. We built a house there and come to find out after we moved in, we had built this house on top of an old indian burial ground. Maybe that explains all the pottery, arrowheads, and even this stone wheel that i had found. Anyways for the first year i would hear things but nothing that really frightened me. Over the next year things got progressively worse. I would hear someone running through the halls, to a little girl crying in corner of my room. But after 3 years of being there, the worst encounter happened...we went out to dinner, came back, and everything in the house, and i mean EVERYTHING, was turned upside down. No it wasnt a break in, camera showed no one entered premises. And nothing was stolen. Reluctantly we stayed the night there that night, and at exactly 3:07 (i remember because it was the most terrifying experience of my life) someone or something started running from the corner of my room

You built on a scared ground
That was a curse set upon you and anyone who lives there.
You angry the higher power who are the spirits.
The first warning was the cries
The second was the hallway runs
Third was the whole house ransacked
The fourth that malevolent is onto you...
you been warned by that spirit and I’m sure it won’t be finish with you yet. Unless you get one of the American Indians to deal with the spirit in a peace treaty or face worse to come. 🤐

My late husband saw ghosts all his life, from a small boy in his house, until he passed away aged72. They even tapped him on the shoulder and he knew what you were going to say before you said it. He could describe acurately places he had never visited and knew when someone was about to die.He came back and whispered in my son's name in his ear two nights running soon after he died. I have no doubt that ghosts exist. It was an everyday occurrence in our house.

But the one that actually gave me the creeps was the one titled Harold the ending was so shocking and the images it made you think of were enough to send chills up your spine.

Hi RelaxingASMR, I'm new to the ASMR scene. I stummbled into ASMR rather by accident after my recent head injury and one of my side effects of this injury was restlessness and difficulty sleeping. I would toss and turn for hours until i would drop finnally drop off. i tried taking medication for it but it completely wiped me out after the accident.
So i was back to square one. so i took to TH-cam to look for a solution to this problem and the internet provided me with multiple responces one of them ASMR. I found a few people but most of them were about hair and make up or people pretending to do things to you. which after being in hospital for a couple of weeks i was fed up of....
But then i found your channel along with Ephemeral Rift and these helped immensely. i was starting to be able to relax and get a good night sleep. One of the other side effects of my injury was my hands shaking and this made writing or drawing very difficult and your videos helped a great deal with this as started trying to draw the same sort of things as you.
So to show my support and appreciation for your videos i have made myself a Patreon account to help you create more content in the hope it helps others like me. I have one request though could you possibly make a few more videos about your tropical fish as i enjoy them greatly!

pretty realxing as always and nice backstory!
i wanted to share my opinion as I always like the paranormal stuff..
when i was in High School, we got into that conversation with our Physicist and he gave me a real good explantion that combines the paranormal and scientific facts.
It was about a spectrum of energy that could become imprinted on the foundations of the house or walls, ground etc. after certain events happened in a certain building or forest etc, etc,. He also said that this doesn't necessarily mean it has to be, bad or tragic events, but in general, massive amounts of energy tend to leave their "print" This is not scientifically proven as the mainstream Scientists don't even bother researching the paranormal, but it could be a really nice explanation for ghosts, poltergeists or whatever..

I was around 12 yrs old and my cousin was spending the summer with us from overseas. I lived with my sister at the time and she was out of town working. It was around 3:00 in the morning and we were playing videogames all night. Before I went to bed I remembered that I had washed my sneakers and wanted to put them in the dryer. When I went back to the bedroom my cousin told me he was tired and wanted to go to sleep so as we turned off the tv my cousin said what's that noise, it sounds like footsteps? I knew right away it was my sneakers in the dryer but he didn't know that so I decided to scare him. I said to him oh my god is someone in the house and right away he became scared and told me to check it out. As I slowly approached the bedroom door to go and check I then grabbed the door knob and the door immediately began shaking uncontrollably almost off of the hinges! I practically shit myself and ran to my cousins side and told him that wanted to play a joke on him but this wasn't part of the joke. After an hour of being in petrified in fear I gathered the will to open the door and no one was there? We checked the whole house and no one was to be found? To this day my cousin and I wonder what the hell happened that night...

Since I started my medication, it's much much easier for me to end up in the "between" sleep and awake that results in "hypnagogic or hypnopompic hallucinations". I lie in bed and can clearly feel someone slowly pulling the blanket off of me, sometimes in a direction where's a wall and no one could possible be there and pull. I can hear people move about in my apartment, I can hear my brother standing just inside the door and removing his coat (I never know why I know it's him, I just know).
Had I not known about hypnagogia and hypnopompia, there is no doubt in my mind, supernatural would be my go-to explanation.

Well I've never had the pleasure of living in a haunted house, sadly. Like 90% of hauntings are benign, ghosts usually just try to keep doing in death what they did in life, and are harmless. Now, if the haunting is a poltergeist? That's a bit different.

Once my brother, my mom, and I were all home, my mom and I were in the living room and my brother was in his room. my mom and I were sitting on the couch watching t.v and all of a sudden we got a phone call that came through the house phone.... and it was strange because it was our home phone number, I asked my mom if I should answer it and she said no, so I didn't. Both
my mom and I assumed it was my brother calling from another room with another house phone (cause we have a phone in every room) I was like "is it even possible to call yourself?" my mom said she didn't know the answer to that so to test it out I got a house phone and called the house number it didn't go through and the phones didn't ring..... sooo how did we get a call from our own house?

You wouldn't think Halloween was for kids these days. The number of people in their twenties and thirties who get excited about dressing up for the occasion is frankly embarrassing!

My first house was haunted and me and my mum used to feel someone crawling up from the bottom of the bed towards us there was a bent teaspoon and my sisters bunk beds would shake large furniture like bookcases and shelves and even Christmas trees would fall down as well thankfully our second house wasn't haunted that we know of 😕

So, carbon monoxide induced hallucinations can all be caught on audio and video recordings accurately and consistently?

Sorry to spam the comment section lol but another thing that happened to me was my mans house was creepy and everyone thought it was haunted but I just thought it was the decoration until one day on the way home from her house (it was a long journey) I had a dream of a man wearing a specific outfit which I later looked up at it was a highwayman and in this dream he just stared at me from the top of the stairs I then researched my nans house years later to find that the huge old oak tree in her garden was a hanging tree for highwaymen 😱 so now I think I must be psychic or something haha

love your channel relaxingasmr. hope that you keep having fun making more vids. i'd rather not get into much detail but i just wanted to tell you that from many personal experiences, ghosts are definitely real in case you didn't know that - as it sounds like you might not. of course feel free to believe what you want just thought i'd give my opinion. hope you are having a great day bro

Funny you should post this for the ghost topic came up recently at a family Christmas get together. I can say that my mother firmly believes that one of the houses we lived in when I was just a lad was haunted. I believe her when she tells of the things she experienced.

so what your saying is you believe in the scientific theory of that there is no such thing as the supernatural and that there is no life beyond the grave

+Dorian harris Are you sure you watched my video. I only remember saying that there could be plausible explanations for haunted houses. Here is a link to a story written 160 years ago that makes the point I was trying to make. Thanks for watching:)

Don't change anything. TH-cam is the universe's complaint department. You'll never please everyone. In fact that whispergamer did you a huge disservice by telling you to quit the campfire roleplays. Those are the ones I go back to time and time again.
Either way. You have the formula down. Unlike some people who shoehorn their faces into every shot and the thumbnail, or if they're female, their cleavage.
