Today for our souls sake, I sit down with Ian Nene, a former actor, model and public figure who is focussed on sharing ancient wisdom from the East throughout the heart of London today. Having lived as a monk for over three years, Ian has thrown himself deep in the practices of yoga, mantra and looks to share that with us all in exciting and dynamic ways! As a fellow Bhakti practitioner, I am thrilled to have him on the podcast to share his interesting spiritual journey, from celeb to monk, as well as the obstacles he overcame to be here with us today!
Ian opens up about the unique events in his life which led him to dive into spirituality as a means to find ultimate authenticity within himself. From being a successful child celebrity in Kenya, to moving to the UK to escape the world of fame, Ian shares the real life challenges he has faced in the path of self discovery. We both talk about the importance of being your authentic self on the path of spiritual life, and how holding up a guise can cause more illusion and bewilderment than enlightenment. Ian shares key lessons he learnt whilst spending time as a monk and how he battled situations where his faith and confidence were shaken.

Hey Ian, yes you was telling perfect sentence. When you enter in spiritual word automatically negative energy go away from your soul and good and powerful energy space in between our soul. I would like to sharing my experience with you guys. I’m completing almost 2.5 year under of Srila Prabhu pada’s guidance. I have bad smoking habit , and I was trying to quit smoking many time but unfortunately not done from my end. when I join with Krishna temple with Bhakti practice and chanting and most joyful energetic kirtan and spiritual sessions from Bhagavat Geeta and suddenly high power energy come in my soul and finally completed my 1 year and I never touch alcohol,smoking and non-vegetarian food. And this is happened because of I clear my mind to focus pure spiritual chanting “Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna hare hare..Hare Ram hare ram ram ram hare hare”. Hare Krishna to all

Super.Radhika.I listened to your bhajans videos.The union Chapel concert fantastic.I belong to South India.We have various forms of bhajans style.Ofcourse everything is unique in its own way.
