It's a very subjective question, a lot of students commute from distant locations , I would recommend you to visit the campus at least once before taking admission and then ask yourself how comfortable you would be if you have to commute on a daily basis throughout the tenure of the course .

Now, being current student of CSE in GU , I would say that if your father(or guardian) has collected room full of BLACK MONEY , then you are most welcome , because GU has a moto : Paisa Phek Tamasha Dekh(sometimes mat Dekh), they take money in the name of everything , even most of the teachers are teaching very poor in CSE department . Good teachers : 15% Moderate: 30% Bad:55 % they just see degree while recruiting teachers , not their skills. I have heard that teachers just come to gain experiance not reputation. You would be thinking they have feedback for teachers , yes we have but its filled only because we have to fill feedback in order to give our end semester exam, and they don’t even read it because we have written a million times, nothing happens , its just Formality to show UGC (I guess) . Guess what , they take fees for next year session 4 months before the start of the session with , we’r bound to give as to give our Session tests(CAT) and exams. Now about infrastructure , we have 3 buildings known as A,B,C-blocks , they have AC in A&B blocks ,in starting of first year they would give you AC in most of the A-block rooms for a month, after first year the CSE students are send to C-block (Dedicated to CSE department), where there is no elevators (we had classes on 5&4 floors) , no AC, regular power cutoff of 1.5 hours (just imagine the type of heat), no water in most of the floors, only two toilets. In labs , the computers are defected for years now. Let me tell about a very small auditorium we have in our university , even my school had better than this , even the speaker during workshops has to stop because of lack of facilities.Canteen are good , but open area is there . Last but not least , there comes the hostel of GU (only boys hostel), every year they raise the fees without any facility added, in AC rooms they turn off AC at 7:00 a.m and start at 6:30 p.m , and A.C starts only after April till september . Lift doesn’t work much of the time, they don’t have free laundry and free WiFi, we have to give money every time , even the gym is paid. Mess is fine sometimes (when they have to present the meal to our faculties),otherwise just edible, somehow.They behave like they’re giving food to beggers.(Beware of the illusion they create when you first come for survey). Even if you come after 3 month to live in hostel they take whole year’s money in which summer is not included. Now about the location , it’s nothing to doubt upon that the location is in the extreme outskirts of Gr. Noida because of low rates and all , the university is under construction just to save the taxes. The university is 20 k.m away from the city and is surrounded with abandoned grasslands and fields. The locations turns a bit scary because of the so called Gujjars with bike gang who’ll never fear to hurt you. Don’t take this review in a negative way , as I’m sick of reading only the positive one(s) (in which most of them are lies) . I’would repeat my self upon “If your father has huge amount of black money , have no second thoughts, just come here”,otherwise if you value your father’s wealth , go get yourself a better place. For MCA in data analytics you need an updated course curriculum with experienced faculties having relevant industry exposure, It is recommended to look for industry linked data analytics programs for meaningful outcome as merely a degree in MCA data analytics won't work.
Unfortunately faculty details with relevant information such as : does the faculty has any work experience in the IT industry , highest qualification, research paper published etc are not displayed by GU publically ,it's not just GU, The majority of higher education institutions don't show important details required by the students for informed decision making .

Now, being current student of CSE in GU , I would say that if your father(or guardian) has collected room full of BLACK MONEY , then you are most welcome , because GU has a moto : Paisa Phek Tamasha Dekh(sometimes mat Dekh), they take money in the name of everything , even most of the teachers are teaching very poor in CSE department . Good teachers : 15% Moderate: 30% Bad:55 % they just see degree while recruiting teachers , not their skills. I have heard that teachers just come to gain experiance not reputation. You would be thinking they have feedback for teachers , yes we have but its filled only because we have to fill feedback in order to give our end semester exam, and they don’t even read it because we have written a million times, nothing happens , its just Formality to show UGC (I guess) . Guess what , they take fees for next year session 4 months before the start of the session with , we’r bound to give as to give our Session tests(CAT) and exams. Now about infrastructure , we have 3 buildings known as A,B,C-blocks , they have AC in A&B blocks ,in starting of first year they would give you AC in most of the A-block rooms for a month, after first year the CSE students are send to C-block (Dedicated to CSE department), where there is no elevators (we had classes on 5&4 floors) , no AC, regular power cutoff of 1.5 hours (just imagine the type of heat), no water in most of the floors, only two toilets. In labs , the computers are defected for years now. Let me tell about a very small auditorium we have in our university , even my school had better than this , even the speaker during workshops has to stop because of lack of facilities.Canteen are good , but open area is there . Last but not least , there comes the hostel of GU (only boys hostel), every year they raise the fees without any facility added, in AC rooms they turn off AC at 7:00 a.m and start at 6:30 p.m , and A.C starts only after April till september . Lift doesn’t work much of the time, they don’t have free laundry and free WiFi, we have to give money every time , even the gym is paid. Mess is fine sometimes (when they have to present the meal to our faculties),otherwise just edible, somehow.They behave like they’re giving food to beggers.(Beware of the illusion they create when you first come for survey). Even if you come after 3 month to live in hostel they take whole year’s money in which summer is not included. Now about the location , it’s nothing to doubt upon that the location is in the extreme outskirts of Gr. Noida because of low rates and all , the university is under construction just to save the taxes. The university is 20 k.m away from the city and is surrounded with abandoned grasslands and fields. The locations turns a bit scary because of the so called Gujjars with bike gang who’ll never fear to hurt you. Don’t take this review in a negative way , as I’m sick of reading only the positive one(s) (in which most of them are lies) . I’would repeat my self upon “If your father has huge amount of black money , have no second thoughts, just come here”,otherwise if you value your father’s wealth , go get yourself a better place. This is my personal opinion , feel free to prove me wrong!

Now, being current student of CSE in GU , I would say that if your father(or guardian) has collected room full of BLACK MONEY , then you are most welcome , because GU has a moto : Paisa Phek Tamasha Dekh(sometimes mat Dekh), they take money in the name of everything , even most of the teachers are teaching very poor in CSE department .

Guess what , they take fees for next year session 4 months before the start of the session with , we’r bound to give as to give our Session tests(CAT) and exams.
Now about infrastructure , we have 3 buildings known as A,B,C-blocks , they have AC in A&B blocks ,in starting of first year they would give you AC in most of the A-block rooms for a month, after first year the CSE students are send to C-block (Dedicated to CSE department), where there is no elevators (we had classes on 5&4 floors) , no AC, regular power cutoff of 1.5 hours (just imagine the type of heat), no water in most of the floors, only two toilets. In labs , the computers are defected for years now.
Let me tell about a very small auditorium we have in our university , even my school had better than this , even the speaker during workshops has to stop because of lack of facilities.Canteen are good , but open area is there .
Last but not least , there comes the hostel of GU (only boys hostel), every year they raise the fees without any facility added, in AC rooms they turn off AC at 7:00 a.m and start at 6:30 p.m , and A.C starts only after April till september .
Lift doesn’t work much of the time, they don’t have free laundry and free WiFi, we have to give money every time , even the gym is paid.
Mess is fine sometimes (when they have to present the meal to our faculties),otherwise just edible, somehow.They behave like they’re giving food to beggers.(Beware of the illusion they create when you first come for survey).
Even if you come after 3 month to live in hostel they take whole year’s money in which summer is not included.
Now about the location , it’s nothing to doubt upon that the location is in the extreme outskirts of Gr. Noida because of low rates and all , the university is under construction just to save the taxes. The university is 20 k.m away from the city and is surrounded with abandoned grasslands and fields. The locations turns a bit scary because of the so called Gujjars with bike gang who’ll never fear to hurt you.
Don’t take this review in a negative way , as I’m sick of reading only the positive one(s) (in which most of them are lies) . I would suggest that don’t take the answers or opinions of the alumni(s) very seriously as they would mostly tell the bright side of University (sometimes even a lie) as this is kind of a human nature that when we pass out from any college or school we tend to have feeling of belongingness doesn’t matter how it was back then and, we tend to ignore or overpass the hardships we have been through.
Now, being current student of CSE in GU , I would say that if your father(or guardian) has collected room full of BLACK MONEY , then you are most welcome , because GU has a moto : Paisa Phek Tamasha Dekh(sometimes mat Dekh), they take money in the name of everything , even most of the teachers are teaching very poor in CSE department .
Good teachers : 15%
Moderate: 30%
Bad:55 %
they just see degree while recruiting teachers , not their skills.
I have heard that teachers just come to gain experiance not reputation.
You would be thinking they have feedback for teachers , yes we have but its filled only because we have to fill feedback in order to give our end semester exam, and they don’t even read it because we have written a million times, nothing happens , its just Formality to show UGC (I guess) .
Guess what , they take fees for next year session 4 months before the start of the session with , we’r bound to give as to give our Session tests(CAT) and exams.
Now about infrastructure , we have 3 buildings known as A,B,C-blocks , they have AC in A&B blocks ,in starting of first year they would give you AC in most of the A-block rooms for a month, after first year the CSE students are send to C-block (Dedicated to CSE department), where there is no elevators (we had classes on 5&4 floors) , no AC, regular power cutoff of 1.5 hours (just imagine the type of heat), no water in most of the floors, only two toilets. In labs , the computers are defected for years now.
Let me tell about a very small auditorium we have in our university , even my school had better than this , even the speaker during workshops has to stop because of lack of facilities.Canteen are good , but open area is there .
Last but not least , there comes the hostel of GU (only boys hostel), every year they raise the fees without any facility added, in AC rooms they turn off AC at 7:00 a.m and start at 6:30 p.m , and A.C starts only after April till september .
Lift doesn’t work much of the time, they don’t have free laundry and free WiFi, we have to give money every time , even the gym is paid.
Mess is fine sometimes (when they have to present the meal to our faculties),otherwise just edible, somehow.They behave like they’re giving food to beggers.(Beware of the illusion they create when you first come for survey).
Even if you come after 3 month to live in hostel they take whole year’s money in which summer is not included.
Now about the location , it’s nothing to doubt upon that the location is in the extreme outskirts of Gr. Noida because of low rates and all , the university is under construction just to save the taxes. The university is 20 k.m away from the city and is surrounded with abandoned grasslands and fields. The locations turns a bit scary because of the so called Gujjars with bike gang who’ll never fear to hurt you.
Don’t take this review in a negative way , as I’m sick of reading only the positive one(s) (in which most of them are lies) . I’would repeat my self upon “If your father has huge amount of black money , have no second thoughts, just come here”,otherwise if you value your father’s wealth , go get yourself a better place.
This is my personal opinion , feel free to prove me wrong!
