The mark actually gives you 3 abilities that are confirmed: 1. Enhanced Strength - Buffs your already superhuman strength, evident when Tanjiro activated it to gain the strength needed to decapitate Gyutaro. Also the reason red blade needs mark is because you need the mark to grip your blade or clash it hard enough for it to turn hot. 2. Buffs your already superhuman speed, for example Akaza commented that Giyu’s speed was increased upon the activation of his mark 3. Enhanced Breathing - Your breathing gives you more endurance thus allowing you to have poison resistance, surpassing your body limits, granting you more stamina, etc. This was evident when UM5’s poison had no affect on Muichiro when he cut his skin poison fish, after his mark disappeared was when he was affected by it. Giyu was able to fight longer with Akaza because of the mark’s ability to give him more stamina, later with the fight against Muzan, his mark made it so that he couldn’t turn into a demon alongside everyone else who had the mark.
You forgot & missed the single most IMPORTANT one. *TRANSPARENT WORLD* ‼️ Yes, I am aware that not all Mark-ees acquired or had access to the Transparent World. But nobody who didn’t have a Mark was able to use Transparent World. So that clearly shows that Transparent World is an ability that comes with the Slayer Mark. With this we can only assume that to access Transparent World you must had to have achieved some higher type of natural mastery with the Slayer Mark or ; you had to have some type of extreme circumstances that drove or forced you to be able to use Transparent World… *EX:* In the face off between UM#1-Kokushibo v.s. Gyomei & Sanemi (MOSTLY JUST THOSE TWO FIGHTING) , Sanemi never gained access to Transparent World but Gyomei did. Gyomei’s extreme driving force to activate it was the fact that he was blind, so he was already at a disadvantage plus the fact that Kokushibo’s Blood Demon Moon Breathing Forms had no set patterns for Gyomei to get familiar with to allow him the chance to adjust to the battle. Kokushibo could adjust the sizes, positions, & angles of all the moons coming out at will so the sounds were always different . & Gyomei used his weapons chain & sound to be able to maneuver while being blind. This forced Gyomei to dig even deeper than he did before from when he first activated the Slayer Mark. If Gyomei never activated Transparent World, he would’ve never been able to see , & without him seeing he couldn’t predict movements or keep dodging the moons from the sword. That would’ve basically kept him out of the fight or even just got him killed. Without Gyomei, Kokushibo DEFINITELY would’ve won the fight because he was the primary one doing any real damage to Kokushibo.
Also, not tryna sound like I know everything but #3 is a no lol. Most of the examples in #3 are just effects from #1: Being Stronger. It didn’t just make them stronger as in Grip Strength or Striking Strength , it strengthened everything about them including all the abilities they already had, & it made their bodies toughness stronger. Take Muichiro for example, Demon Slayers all already have resistance to Demon Blood that’s why they said it takes ALOT more blood & about 3 times the amount of time to turn a Demon Slayer into a demon compared to how long it takes humans. & That’s if they survive because it said that 99% of Demon Slayers will just die before they can successfully turn into demons because of the resistance to Demon Blood. So for Muichiro , his mark just strengthened his poison resistance like it strengthened everything else... Now take Giyu, his case is pretty much the same; his body was strengthened overall by the Slayer Mark so it allowed him to withstand the stress & pressure on his muscles & his body longer… MOST IMPORTANTLY, the Slayer Mark DOES NOT have the ability to completely stop a Demon Slayer from turning into a demon lmao 😂. Remember I said all Demon Slayers have resistance to Muzans blood already but that’s all, a RESISTANCE. But The Kakushi & Kanao were carrying the few remaining extra vials of Tamayo’s Anti-Kibutsuji medicine that could turn demons back into humans & it was just enough left to give all the affected Demon Slayer’s one then have 1 more left for Tanjiro at the end. Think bacc in the way earlier episodes, remember Zenitsu got poisoned by the spider demon he was fighting on the mountain , he already had a resistance then but he then passed out from fear & his “Sleeping Alter Ego” took over then slowed his heart rate & breathing down because he knew it was gonna be a long time till he was found & saved. When he was found they thought he was dead due to how much he slowed down his heart & breathing. Then whoever was the medic or the Kakushi that episode said even tho Slayers have a resistance to Muzans blood , that any other Demon Slayer would’ve died by the time they found Zenitsu because how much time had passed but Zenitsu’s Subconscious side / Sleeping alter ego saved him. LASTLY; remember the UM#6-Gyutaro fight ? Gyutaro said his weapons were soaked in poison blood & that it kills everything in a matter of seconds, I assume he was referring to regular normal humans & animals when saying everything dies in seconds because they have no resistance to demons blood… So the whole entire fight Tengen, Tanjiro, & Inosuke were getting striked repeatedly by Gyutaro & the poison was getting worse & worse, During that fight Zenitsu was the only one not poisoned because of his speed & cause he mostly only fought Daki. But they all already had resistance like all other Demon Slayers like I said , & they pretty much were still capable of fighting the whole entire fight poisoned, TWO SEPARATE FIGHTS BASICALLY, all while being poisoned & nobody had any marks yet (TANJIRO ACTIVATED HIS MARK LITERALLY AT THE VERY LAST SECOND WHEN BEHEADING GYUTARO). By the end, they all lost so much of their own blood & the blood poison was heavily concentrated in their bodies after all the time that passed & their “Resistance” was hitting its limits leaving them all to think it was the end because this was before Tamayo completed her research from Nezuko’s & the Upper Moons blood to make the Anti-Kibutsuji demon reversing medicine . But then Nezuko surprised everybody & used her Blood Demon Art: Exploding Flames; to save everyone & burn out the blood poison. SO REALLY, THE 3RD ABILITY DEMON SLAYERS GET FROM THE SLAYER MARK IS TRANSPARENT WORLD ‼️

Transparent world could not have made you stronger but rather an advantage in battle, same goes with selfless state and red blade, they all help you fight in battle but it doesn’t really allow you to become stronger. #1 Mark #2 Transparent World #3 Red Blade #4 Selfless State Mark allows you to surpass limits and enhance your already superhuman capabilities. This ability was also stated to allow the marked user to rival upper rank demons. Something the other abilities can’t do. Transparent World comes in second after mark, here’s why: To see things in slow motion thus allowing you to accurately predict attacks with precision is a great advantage that helps you survive longer. Red Blade comes in 3rd instead of 2nd, Red blade and although it lets you leave permanent markings on demon in the area of damage, it doesn’t even kill demons that are immune to decapitation. i remember someone making a video on it but it's more likely that the severe strain on the body to awaken, maintain, and effectively use the mark in the necessary situation just put so much strain on the body that an individual that is going through puberty would destroy their body almost beyond recovery and coupled with the level of medical aid at the time there was probably no good way to deal with all the complications like no wonder there's a myth about dying at 25 ya got teenagers fucking up their bodies exerting levels of strength that should be reserved for like one time in your existence and they dont got doctors skilled enough to put them back together
Your close but the real reason young people can use it is because there bodies are fresh. But when they reach the age of 25 which is when the body stops developing it causes the strain to catch up and you ultimately die since the body can’t keep up with the necessary energy to maintain the mark It’s like how a brand new car engine can handle more strains then an old one

Didn't kokushibo tell gyomei he wouldn't survive the sunrise because he awoke his mark. And the whole reason he never showed it off was because it would almost immediately kill him. There is a misconception about why they die at 25, when they awaken the demon slayer mark. The demon slayer mark allows the body to push past its previous limits, the actual reason they die at that age is because the people who awaken a demon slayer mark were usually in their early 20s except now a days with tanjiro and muichiro awakened it in their teens, but people in the sengoku period were in that 19-25 age range(im assuming based on context from the English manga so i might be completely wrong) and since the human body has limits and some people have higher limits like gyomei and tanjiro and yorrichi who isnt effected because his body is the demon slayer mark incarnate he is the virus that is the mark (i took the virus analogy from the mark being contagious)that is why even in his old age he is at his peak, the people who awakened the demon slayer mark in the Sengoku period aren't able to live with the strain it puts on said person, so it pushes the body so badly it kills the person. This also means that even if muichiro didn't die the way he did, he would have lived less then 25 years, based on that tanjiros body could possibly be able to sustain the effects of the mark and the strain wont kill him before or at 25 years of age, ive come to this conclusion because tanjiro is often compared to yorrichi so ive assumed the living pass 25 years old thing also doesn't effect tanjiro(this part is only a theory, everything above the muichiro comment i got from the manga and using context from the show and this video) (Im also like 98% sure that Gyomei already had transparent world before the demon slayer mark)
I always assumed demon slayer marks were kinda like mitotic regen where the more you use it the shorter ur life gets cause ur body isn’t meant to handle that stress (unless ur born with it like yuriichi who’s demon slayers hashirama)
All demon slayer marks “Disappear” or in other words Deactivate when not being currently used. There is only 2 people who had a mark activated 24/7 . 1st is Yorichii & that’s because his “Mark” was engrained in his DNA at birth & his was different because it wasn’t acquired like all other Marks, hence why he was the only person with a mark to survive passed the age of 25. His was more of a part of him & not a “power boost” or added “Attribute” . Even including Tanjiro, because as most people think Tanjiro was born with the mark but he wasn’t , he got burned & then later on the burn turned into a Demon slayer mark. So it was more of a foreshadowing of what would come in the future with Tanjiro, & not like a direct comparison of trying to make the viewers believe Tanjiro is reincarnated Yorichii or that Tanjiro was born with it just like Yorichii. That’s not it….. The second person with a Demon Slayer Mark activated 24/7 is Kokushibo & that is simply because he became a demon after he activated the mark , & for most people the mark destroys & deteriorates your body so it will deactivate after a certain amount of time & wear & tear, but since Kokushibo is a demon that is basically constantly healing any body damage second by second, his marks count down clocc is always resetting to 0 & never runs out of stamina or shuts down due to his body not holding up because he will never be in that situation because he’s a demon that heals everything

So from what I’m hearing is that perpetual use of the Mark will kill a human at the age of 25 with except of Patient: Zero, but if used sparingly will allow you to live much longer. You know I think Aang went through the same thing. Constantly used the Avatar State for a hundred years.

The issue is that unless the breathing style is tied to you personally then you’ll find yourself ultimately making weaker versions or even being unable to outright do any of the Kata’s. For example Tanjiro can use water breathing but it’s straight up said by himself that sun breathing feels more natural and that he’ll never be as good as Giyu. And Mitsuri tried to learn flame breathing for 8 months but could never preform a single one of the kata’s for it

And the forms don’t just require you to imitate the movements but also the force and strength behind the attack and Yoruichi was so exceptional that no one could copy him. Even the Hinokami Kagura is ultimately the sun breathing technique’s moded into a dance It also depends on your body and your connection to the style. For all his training and 8 years as a demon slayer Murata ultimately sucks at water breathing I mean he can only summon droplets
I think Sun Breathing’s results which are exceptional warmth (shown by dancing in the freezing cold all night) exceptional exhaustion after using (which anybody would have after getting that high of a heart rate) and exceptional strength seemed to fit. I’d imagine this mark and having the proper use of it will let a person live longer but, much like sun breathing, nobody else has been able to do it aside from a select few.
I see the curse of the mark as the mark just accelerating how fast your body degrades and just burns through life force faster. Like over clocking a PC without upgrading the cooling systems

@@crazyscotsman9327 no rengoku was never gonna be able to cut his head off even with the mark rengoku was at most the 4 weakest hashira, and that’s a stretch because I could see Tengen being stronger/winning in an fight, the mark would be a big help but against akaza it would not have, because gyuu is fourth strongest hashira give or take and with the mark he wasn’t pushing akaza to his limits in a one on one fight between gyuu and akaza gyuu wouldnt have even gotten close, coming from someone who has read the manga and watch the anime several times But that’s just me though

He’s more or less telling the truth depending on which power up you think is more important. There’s another power-up in Demon Slayer. It’s like the fusion of a Sharingan, and Byakugan. It’s how Gyomei achieved his feats as the strongest Demon Slayer, and how despite being blind he’s able to perceive the world around him.
Pretty sure the whole "dying at 25" thing came about thanks to Muzan, who likely went out of his way to kill any Demon Slayer who managed to achieve a Demon Slayer's Mark to specifically avoid what happened to him from happening again. Coincidentally, the ones who died were probably around 25 when Muzan or likely one of his top three demons took them out. The finer details get lost over time, leading to the myth that you live to 25 once you have the mark, and then drop dead, when in actuality all the people who got the mark and died were ripped apart by Muzan's top demons or Muzan himself so as to keep the Demon Slayer Corps weak.
But Kokushibo explicitly explains that he wanted to keep sharpening his skills to compete with his brother, demon slayers began to die at 25 before Koku ever became a demon, and he was the one most privy to their techniques effectively capable of targeting and singling them out. Muzan didn't even have elite demons before we then, how could it be just a rumor? Kokushibo even confirms that Gyomei would just flat out die after the might, as he just awoke his mark and you can't live past 25. It was supposed to exclaim an extraordinary amount of stress, not a rumor, a human can do literally everything a demon can outside of blood magic, but it costs them their lives. Why didn't Rengoku awaken his against Akaza? Maybe because he did not wanted to become a Demon, thus not manifesting the mark because it's a Demon crest. Also, what about Tengen not awaken his? Was it because both of them are already in their peak/they were born in a family of fighters and in that environment? Other than the 2 of them, the other Hashiras started as a commoner that just happen to have a natural talent in fighting.

At this point my only complaint about Demon Slayer is the convoluted explanations for the clearly magical (but not really 🙄) things the Demon Slayers do. Magical power up mark that is spread through “resonating” with each other and awakens through insane life or death situations, cool. Someone has superhuman senses, strength, speed, can no longer be seen by the enemy, shifts organs around, and effecting the environment in a way that matches up with the elemental special effects, that’s magic too right? Nah bro, that would be silly, they just breath different and have a different set of sword swings. The magical power up mark makes your sword glow, right? Of course not, it turned red because they squeezed harder. It’s like Naruto without chakra, and the hand signs just pump you up and look so cool your enemy is preoccupied imagining fireballs flying at them while you punch them in the face like a normal person.

Since when comparing the demons and slayers you have hantengu who can create wood dragons and actual elements, rui and his family who can create and spit out strong and poisonous webs, and we have also seen demons who can literally change, manipulate, or even create dimensional spaces or areas. So while they have some crazy wild powers the slayers only have abilities that seems "realistic" in theory to being "unrealistic" but with their logical in world explanation. My only specific complaints from the slayers side is when they introduce ranged attacks or attacks that should only be the range of the sword but can go farther (I won't mind if its like wind pressure). And ya it can feel confusing or off putting when the visuals don't actually represent what it should do in verse. But like I don't see the point in complaining about borderline realistic/unrealistic things while we can easily accept powers/feats that we can't even see in our world (Like for me its when they bring in actual martial arts and makes it look realistic but they trick you and they have OP powers or magic n sht)

i can’t find an answer to this questions so i must as the professor himself, since demons can only be killed by sunlight, a demon slayers sword, or muzan himself why is it that tanjiro worries for Nezukos safety? would she not technically be unkillable during a fight with another demon? i know kokushibo isn’t capable of absorbing demons, but that seems unique to him or at least just the strongest of the upper moons. ALSO with nezuko being immune to sunlight and nichirin gaining its demon slaying capabilities by basking in sunlight, would she also be immune to demon slayer swords? FURTHERMORE with her being immune to sunlight would she also be immune to the breathing styles including sun breathing due to them stemming from the sun?

When a sun breather user unlocks the demon slayer it starts resonating with other people and so creating a connection with a sun breather user along with the mastery of a style ultimately unlocks the demon slayer mark

Your heart rate can exceed 200 and be just fine when you're young but the older you get, the lower the safe number becomes. I have a condition called SVT and my heart rate has exceeded 200 before and I was just fine. But if you don't seek immediate medical attention, things can go south very fast. So if you ever see your heart rate above 170 for more than a few minutes, GO TO THE ER IMMEDIATELY!

If Gyomei never activated Transparent World, he would’ve never been able to see , & without him seeing he couldn’t predict movements or keep dodging the moons from the sword. That would’ve basically kept him out of the fight or even just got him killed. Without Gyomei, Kokushibo DEFINITELY would’ve won the fight because he was the primary one doing any real damage to Kokushibo.
Also, not tryna sound like I know everything but #3 is a no lol. Most of the examples in #3 are just effects from #1: Being Stronger. It didn’t just make them stronger as in Grip Strength or Striking Strength , it strengthened everything about them including all the abilities they already had, & it made their bodies toughness stronger.
Take Muichiro for example, Demon Slayers all already have resistance to Demon Blood that’s why they said it takes ALOT more blood & about 3 times the amount of time to turn a Demon Slayer into a demon compared to how long it takes humans. & That’s if they survive because it said that 99% of Demon Slayers will just die before they can successfully turn into demons because of the resistance to Demon Blood. So for Muichiro , his mark just strengthened his poison resistance like it strengthened everything else...
Now take Giyu, his case is pretty much the same; his body was strengthened overall by the Slayer Mark so it allowed him to withstand the stress & pressure on his muscles & his body longer…
MOST IMPORTANTLY, the Slayer Mark DOES NOT have the ability to completely stop a Demon Slayer from turning into a demon lmao 😂. Remember I said all Demon Slayers have resistance to Muzans blood already but that’s all, a RESISTANCE. But The Kakushi & Kanao were carrying the few remaining extra vials of Tamayo’s Anti-Kibutsuji medicine that could turn demons back into humans & it was just enough left to give all the affected Demon Slayer’s one then have 1 more left for Tanjiro at the end. Think bacc in the way earlier episodes, remember Zenitsu got poisoned by the spider demon he was fighting on the mountain , he already had a resistance then but he then passed out from fear & his “Sleeping Alter Ego” took over then slowed his heart rate & breathing down because he knew it was gonna be a long time till he was found & saved. When he was found they thought he was dead due to how much he slowed down his heart & breathing. Then whoever was the medic or the Kakushi that episode said even tho Slayers have a resistance to Muzans blood , that any other Demon Slayer would’ve died by the time they found Zenitsu because how much time had passed but Zenitsu’s Subconscious side / Sleeping alter ego saved him.
LASTLY; remember the UM#6-Gyutaro fight ? Gyutaro said his weapons were soaked in poison blood & that it kills everything in a matter of seconds, I assume he was referring to regular normal humans & animals when saying everything dies in seconds because they have no resistance to demons blood… So the whole entire fight Tengen, Tanjiro, & Inosuke were getting striked repeatedly by Gyutaro & the poison was getting worse & worse, During that fight Zenitsu was the only one not poisoned because of his speed & cause he mostly only fought Daki. But they all already had resistance like all other Demon Slayers like I said , & they pretty much were still capable of fighting the whole entire fight poisoned, TWO SEPARATE FIGHTS BASICALLY, all while being poisoned & nobody had any marks yet (TANJIRO ACTIVATED HIS MARK LITERALLY AT THE VERY LAST SECOND WHEN BEHEADING GYUTARO). By the end, they all lost so much of their own blood & the blood poison was heavily concentrated in their bodies after all the time that passed & their “Resistance” was hitting its limits leaving them all to think it was the end because this was before Tamayo completed her research from Nezuko’s & the Upper Moons blood to make the Anti-Kibutsuji demon reversing medicine . But then Nezuko surprised everybody & used her Blood Demon Art: Exploding Flames; to save everyone & burn out the blood poison.

I still do think mark is the strongest ability because unlike the other ability which branches off from the mark, the mark grants enhanced speed, strength and breathing. Transparent world could not have made you stronger but rather an advantage in battle, same goes with selfless state and red blade, they all help you fight in battle but it doesn’t really allow you to become stronger.

i remember someone making a video on it but it's more likely that the severe strain on the body to awaken, maintain, and effectively use the mark in the necessary situation just put so much strain on the body that an individual that is going through puberty would destroy their body almost beyond recovery and coupled with the level of medical aid at the time there was probably no good way to deal with all the complications
like no wonder there's a myth about dying at 25 ya got teenagers fucking up their bodies exerting levels of strength that should be reserved for like one time in your existence and they dont got doctors skilled enough to put them back together
Your close but the real reason young people can use it is because there bodies are fresh. But when they reach the age of 25 which is when the body stops developing it causes the strain to catch up and you ultimately die since the body can’t keep up with the necessary energy to maintain the mark

There is a misconception about why they die at 25, when they awaken the demon slayer mark. The demon slayer mark allows the body to push past its previous limits, the actual reason they die at that age is because the people who awaken a demon slayer mark were usually in their early 20s except now a days with tanjiro and muichiro awakened it in their teens, but people in the sengoku period were in that 19-25 age range(im assuming based on context from the English manga so i might be completely wrong) and since the human body has limits and some people have higher limits like gyomei and tanjiro and yorrichi who isnt effected because his body is the demon slayer mark incarnate he is the virus that is the mark (i took the virus analogy from the mark being contagious)that is why even in his old age he is at his peak, the people who awakened the demon slayer mark in the Sengoku period aren't able to live with the strain it puts on said person, so it pushes the body so badly it kills the person. This also means that even if muichiro didn't die the way he did, he would have lived less then 25 years, based on that tanjiros body could possibly be able to sustain the effects of the mark and the strain wont kill him before or at 25 years of age, ive come to this conclusion because tanjiro is often compared to yorrichi so ive assumed the living pass 25 years old thing also doesn't effect tanjiro(this part is only a theory, everything above the muichiro comment i got from the manga and using context from the show and this video)

All demon slayer marks “Disappear” or in other words Deactivate when not being currently used. There is only 2 people who had a mark activated 24/7 . 1st is Yorichii & that’s because his “Mark” was engrained in his DNA at birth & his was different because it wasn’t acquired like all other Marks, hence why he was the only person with a mark to survive passed the age of 25. His was more of a part of him & not a “power boost” or added “Attribute” . The second person with a Demon Slayer Mark activated 24/7 is Kokushibo & that is simply because he became a demon after he activated the mark , & for most people the mark destroys & deteriorates your body so it will deactivate after a certain amount of time & wear & tear, but since Kokushibo is a demon that is basically constantly healing any body damage second by second, his marks count down clocc is always resetting to 0 & never runs out of stamina or shuts down due to his body not holding up because he will never be in that situation because he’s a demon that heals everything

The issue is that unless the breathing style is tied to you personally then you’ll find yourself ultimately making weaker versions or even being unable to outright do any of the Kata’s. For example Tanjiro can use water breathing but it’s straight up said by himself that sun breathing feels more natural and that he’ll never be as good as Giyu. And Mitsuri tried to learn flame breathing for 8 months but could never preform a single one of the kata’s for it

It also depends on your body and your connection to the style. For all his training and 8 years as a demon slayer Murata ultimately sucks at water breathing I mean he can only summon droplets

I think Sun Breathing’s results which are exceptional warmth (shown by dancing in the freezing cold all night) exceptional exhaustion after using (which anybody would have after getting that high of a heart rate) and exceptional strength seemed to fit.
I’d imagine this mark and having the proper use of it will let a person live longer but, much like sun breathing, nobody else has been able to do it aside from a select few.

He’s more or less telling the truth depending on which power up you think is more important. There’s another power-up in Demon Slayer. It’s like the fusion of a Sharingan, and Byakugan. It’s how Gyomei achieved his feats as the strongest Demon Slayer, and how despite being blind he’s able to perceive the world around him.

Pretty sure the whole "dying at 25" thing came about thanks to Muzan, who likely went out of his way to kill any Demon Slayer who managed to achieve a Demon Slayer's Mark to specifically avoid what happened to him from happening again. Coincidentally, the ones who died were probably around 25 when Muzan or likely one of his top three demons took them out. The finer details get lost over time, leading to the myth that you live to 25 once you have the mark, and then drop dead, when in actuality all the people who got the mark and died were ripped apart by Muzan's top demons or Muzan himself so as to keep the Demon Slayer Corps weak.

But Kokushibo explicitly explains that he wanted to keep sharpening his skills to compete with his brother, demon slayers began to die at 25 before Koku ever became a demon, and he was the one most privy to their techniques effectively capable of targeting and singling them out. Kokushibo even confirms that Gyomei would just flat out die after the might, as he just awoke his mark and you can't live past 25.
It was supposed to exclaim an extraordinary amount of stress, not a rumor, a human can do literally everything a demon can outside of blood magic, but it costs them their lives.

At this point my only complaint about Demon Slayer is the convoluted explanations for the clearly magical (but not really 🙄) things the Demon Slayers do. Magical power up mark that is spread through “resonating” with each other and awakens through insane life or death situations, cool. Someone has superhuman senses, strength, speed, can no longer be seen by the enemy, shifts organs around, and effecting the environment in a way that matches up with the elemental special effects, that’s magic too right? Nah bro, that would be silly, they just breath different and have a different set of sword swings. The magical power up mark makes your sword glow, right? Of course not, it turned red because they squeezed harder. It’s like Naruto without chakra, and the hand signs just pump you up and look so cool your enemy is preoccupied imagining fireballs flying at them while you punch them in the face like a normal person.
Yeah it's sort of disappointing when you find out they're just people fighting demons with swords. It's basically a fantasy action version of Kurikos Basketball lmao

Since when comparing the demons and slayers you have hantengu who can create wood dragons and actual elements, rui and his family who can create and spit out strong and poisonous webs, and we have also seen demons who can literally change, manipulate, or even create dimensional spaces or areas. So while they have some crazy wild powers the slayers only have abilities that seems "realistic" in theory to being "unrealistic" but with their logical in world explanation.
My only specific complaints from the slayers side is when they introduce ranged attacks or attacks that should only be the range of the sword but can go farther (I won't mind if its like wind pressure). And ya it can feel confusing or off putting when the visuals don't actually represent what it should do in verse. But like I don't see the point in complaining about borderline realistic/unrealistic things while we can easily accept powers/feats that we can't even see in our world (Like for me its when they bring in actual martial arts and makes it look realistic but they trick you and they have OP powers or magic n sht)

Your heart rate can exceed 200 and be just fine when you're young but the older you get, the lower the safe number becomes. I have a condition called SVT and my heart rate has exceeded 200 before and I was just fine. But if you don't seek immediate medical attention, things can go south very fast. So if you ever see your heart rate above 170 for more than a few minutes, GO TO THE ER IMMEDIATELY!
