JiU is a rabbit and SuA is a bird (Siyeon wolf from stage intensity, Handong cat, Yoohyeon puppy, Dami panda, Gahyeon baby fox). They are both '94 so Jibo (JiU + Bora) have the chingu thing going on top of being members with everyone else. 2Yoo (Yoohyeon + Yubin/Dami) are '97 chingus so you see them together a lot too. Jibo is great entertainment but the unnie line is incomplete without Siyeon that is MAXIMUM chaos and hilarity; usually gets 19+ and the elephant pen incident lives on years later. (SuA + Siyeon + JiU = SuSiJi also the Korean borrowed word for sausage).
Just to add that specifically, SuA is a Crow-tit (Bapsae).

SuA and Siyeon act like a full-on couple (on video, glass closet) in extravagant ways that the stereotypical ships never have... and it seems like maknae Gahyeon is ALWAYS in the middle or right beside it, sees everything her two moms are doing, and trying to cover for them.

@@rogeliomunoz8779 Chingu can only be with a person born the same year, it's important to the age hierarchy of Korean culture. Handong is the only '96 so she can't have chingus in the group only unnies or dongsaengs.
Jiu have that safe place vibe. She's such a sunshine. You can see the way her eyes sparkle whenever she talk to her members and just observe and listen to them talk. Best leader as always. Sua is always chaotic but she is also the mom of the group. She cooks, cleans and raised gahyeon 😂. She is unfiltered 24/7. The whole dc is

Yes! Jiu and Sua (also known as Jibo) are with each other a lot partly bc they are both 97 liners and also bc they just have good vibes together and enjoy each other's company :) and they are also parent line (in this household we love our 2 moms 😌)
Like you said Jiu is like the fun parent no one takes seriously and Sua is the scary parent you don't want to mess with when she's serious haha but they also love the members a lot and ate always there for them :')
Also you asked about their representative animals, OP actually has the emoji of their animals on all of these vids! Jiu is a bunny 🐰 and Sua is a Korean crow tit, there's no emoji for that so we just use one of these 3 chick emojis 🐥🐤🐣 (as for the rest of the members Siyeon is a wolf 🐺 Handong is a cat 🐱 Yoohyeon is a dog/puppy 🐶 Dami is a Panda 🐼 and Gahyeon is a Fox 🦊)

also yes, as others said both JiU SuA are really close bcs of same age (in Korea actually people much closer to the ones with the same age)
actually they're all close to each other, but JiU seems closer to SuA, followed by Yoohyeon and Siyeon. also SuA to Siyeon and Yoohyeon but lately SuA closer to Handong.
unnie line actually including Siyeon, they're almost always in trio (imo JiU to Siyeon rarely appear as duo, mostly including SuA). Handong's age is closer to Siyeon (5mo) than Yoohyeon (9mo almost 10) but she's included as maknae line

My favourite duo! They match so well and I always enjoy watching them. They've said multiple times that their personality match well, which is the reason they always want to have the same room on hotels when traveling. ☺ I have a soft spot for leaders and parent-lines on many groups as well haha 😅

Thanks for the video. Your title matches the video so well haha. JiU is the sunshine dad with the corny jokes and SuA is the loud mom with so much hyperactive chaotic energy. They both care and energize the other members in their own sweet way.
Unnie line is my fave line, with Siyeon included ofc. SuA is pronounced as Soo-Ah. You only add the sh sound when the s is followed by the i. Like Siyeon, which is she-yeon, that one you seem to have down thus far.
JiU does vlogs when the group travels but her vlogs always have at least some small amount of mukbang to them. She's a real foodie, even if there is a better cook among the members. JiU doesn't really do ASMR but just to show what was happening at the time while the group is busy or big things are happening around them.
We normally don't see any of the group members' vlogs until weeks later so it's not possible to stream snipe them. They learned that lesson from other famous people so they don't get put in danger unless they do it to themselves.
Yoohyeon dragged Dami along for a vlog once. They stepped outside of their secure building at night. They took a stroll around the area, just the two of them out at night, livestreaming it almost the entire time (the signal was crap so Yoohyeon had to re-start the stream twice; after the second time Dami finally convinced Yoohyeon how dangerous this could be so they went back to the building).
Jiu and SuA, my bias wreckers. Jiu is sunshine and dad jokes. She is the leader but also the fake makane. When they play mafia games or any game with guessing the imposter they never believe JiU even if she turns out to be right.. i e BEcause Mafia dance
SuA is also mom like with her cooking and cleaning, but she is also rather violent.. touch/affection is her love language and sometimes that touch or affection is violent; Handong is the only member she won’t be violent with. SuA and Yoohyeon have Tom and Jerry relationship. Dami make a joke on a vlive i believe Siyeon did during Boca Era that Gahyeon is the product of SuA and Siyeon’s “relationship/marriage” and SuA said raising Gahyeon is hard.

Insomnicy’s DC as their animal representatives shows how they are like their animal.
Yoohyeon may officially be lead vocalist with Jiu, but she is also secret second main. SuA is lead rapper and vocalist, but is also secret 3ed lead, Handong and Gahyeon’s vocals have improved as have their stage presence/confidence. Gahyeon even leaned how to rap. Siyeon love to karaoke to rap. And Dami has improved with her vocals as well. They could all be main vocalist and successful solos … they could all be rappers to as they have all rapped at some point be in for a cover, competition show or just for fun.
Jiu and Yoohyeon are the tallest at 5’6” with Yoohyeon being slightly taller at 168cm, Jiu 167cm. Siyeon and Handong are 5’5” with Siyeon being taller at 166cm and Handong 165cm. Dami is 5’4” or 163cm. SuA is the small 5’3 3/4” or 162cm. Gahyeon is ~5’3” or ~160cm.. she could be closer to or taller then SuA now.

JiU's animal is the Rabbit. Oh, just as an 'interesting' thing that really does not actually matter at all, JiU just happens to be Left-handed. Just throwing that out there as a useless fact. There are two other Lefties I know of in K-Pop which are Jeon Soyeon (the leader of (G)I-DLE) and Rose' of BLACKPINK. I am sure there are others but these are the three I know about for certain.
That was not disappointment, that was real pain. Siyeon had accidentally kicked JiU in the shin while Gahyeon was picking Siyeon up.

JiU was voted the Best Looking Female in K-Pop two years in a row. I think that was as recently as 2020 and 2021... I personally really don't like the Korean Beauty Standard because they exclude SO MUCH of the population. But in this case, I think they got it right. She really is PRETTY without any makeup. I think all of the members of DC are but that's from a perspective of somebody born and raised in the United States.
I have travelled and seen a lot of people. The kind of Beauty the KBS rates is only skin deep; I prefer to be much more open-minded about that.
For instance, Hwasa of Mamamoo has been called fat and ugly by a lot of people who don't know anything outside of the Korean Beauty Standard. They have NO IDEA what a truly beautiful woman she is because they are not even trying to look at non-Koreans. They ONLY want to look at Korean supermodels like JiU, Irene of Red Velvet, Miyeon of (G)I-DLE, etc. They miss out on what REALLY counts because they are ONLY looking skin-deep. It's really STUPID-weird. But Hwasa would be completely welcome over here.
