Because to combine both you need a special kind of person. Actresses with a great sense of humor, and being great in combining both humor and drama perfectly, are one of the most talented out there.

Sorry if this sounds a bit like know-it-all but Jennifer Aniston's name wasn't actually Anastasakis. Her birth name was Jennifer Joanna Aniston. It was only her father that had Anastasakis as his birth name, but you see John picked an artist name for himself and that name carried on to his daughter. =)

Well, considering that US Society and Hollywood was still pretty much WASP during the time her father grew up, you completely understand the name change. John Stamos is another famous example. Today it wouldn't matter so much, as in Zach Galifianakis or George Stephanopoulos etc.
