If they are not essential we will still download them.💁🏽♂️ For instance many people use luxury party, cool kitchen, fitness stuff packs; all of which I'm never gonna buy so I'm used to some items not appearing/get replaced by basegame ones. If they are not essential parts of the build I'd still download them & just replace the missing ones with whatever I think fits there.😁 It really doesn't matter for me if I don't have some packs that are used in a build/sim, if I wanna use them I'll find a way.☺ And personally I'd love to see some star wars builds (or any builds with those items) from you bc I know you'd blow my mind away with it.😅

This is amazing! I have a grandson who is obsessed with the Titanic, and he's very impressed, too. I hope you continue to be well and to enjoy making wonderful builds in TS4. The new Star Wars game pack looks like great fun to me, and I'm currently waiting for it to download to my PC. I understand it isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I can hardly wait! I'm glad other things that are needed or greatly wanted in the game are in the works, too. There are different teams working on different things at the same time, so one team's work doesn't really take any time or energy away from the other teams. I do agree that issues such as skin tones should have been addressed earlier - and maybe someone has been working on them for a long time and just having a lot of trouble. It's good that the Sims devs are working on some of the things that players have been asking for, and that they're being a little more open about the process. Patience, please, and no flaming!
I think you should get what you like. People can always either change items. I think it’ll take your builds to the next level. I watched some gamechangers videos and there’s seriously so much stuff they have in build and buy that you will definitely not regret it! I’m definitely getting it.

You can use this build as a museum, such as the one in Branson Missouri, there museum is about half the size and you can walk through them and see items that are from the Titanic. Such a sad event in human history. My favorite story from the Titanic (not the movie, but actual story from the history of the ship, is when a woman in Ireland refused to get on the ship because the first mate said that "Not even God can sink this ship." She refused to get on because she believed that he cursed the ship when he said that. So that is my suggestion, create a museum. If you are looking for ideas for hotels, try making the HMS Queen Mary, she is currently docked in Longbeach, CA and is considered a history landmark--as well as being very haunted!!

This is amazing. Only you could recreate the Titanic in such detail! I love this. No idea when I'll get the chance to play with it now with the little one but hopefully I will at some point. Looking forward to more great builds! They are a nice distraction when I get a moment to myself.

Amazing build again!!! It looks so pretty and accurate! About Star wars... I don't think it was about bringing new fans to Sims, it was for the opposite. Everybody knows Starwars. Even I do even though I refused to watch. The pack was created in a way that you need to know what exactly going on between themes. There are so many Star Wars games already and Disney knows simmers will buy any pack even though they hate the idea of it. I am playing the cracked version of the game so I will get the pack regardless. But I am thinking off disabling it.

Some of the build items look cool but mostly will look out of place in a 'normal everyday' neighbourhood. Fair play to anyone who is excited for it, the beauty of a game like the sims is we all have our own likes/dislikes and style of play. I'm not going to hate on anyone who genuinely wants the pack. I'm pretty sure there are some packs I enjoy that others don't and I'd not expect hate over it. The SW pack for me is just an advert for Disneyworld - the world is based on the one built there and not even on one in one of the films. I see it as a paid for advert & cash grab. Maybe if one day they stick it on sale for 75% off to boost sales then I'll get it just for completeness but I have many packs missing that don't appeal to me personally. Had they released it after fixing all the bugs, giving us proper babies & skintones etc that desperately need fixing & have done so for 6yrs then I suspect it would have been better received. Right now it just feels like a slap in the face of all of us who have supported the game for years.
OMG!!! YOU ARE AMAZING!! This is so perfect, you did a great job on this titanic build and it being a restaurant is just fine. I wish I could have this in Sims 3 so I can run it like a hotel. But I appreciate all of your hard work you put in your builds. I will get the Star Wars pack and if you decide to get it, I can only imagine what awesome creations you will build with it....

I thought you were going to build the dining saloon, but then you build the more-luxurious a la carte restaurant. Very very nice surprise! Now addressing some historical facts... The things you mentioned are actually just conspiracy theories with no foundations. 1. The fire actually happened in another location, not where the iceberg impact was, and it was actually not a big deal... In fact it was quite common for fires like that to happen on every ship back then. 2. The insurance thing is also a myth, in fact the insurance wasn't even that big... White Star Line took a huge financial hit with the Titanic disaster. 3. If the ship had hit the iceberg from the front, it would've sank faster because the impact wave would've compromised the structure of the ship and the watertight doors would've jammed, just like what happened to Titanic's sister ship Britannic. It's crazy how many fake news are there about absolutely every subject, right? I used to believe those things too, and was very shocked to know they were all untrue. Congrats for the build, you're mind-blowingly talented! 👏💜
Nice build. I'm okay but my city was destroyed by hurricane Laura last week. There's no electricity and most people have evacuated to other cities. I brought my computer so I can build but I have been too sad to play.
@@quipped-op5xh Thanks. I evacuated and my family/friends are okay too. My place only lost a few roof tiles but my dad's whole roof is gone. That was the worst hurricane ever.
Oh no!! I'm so glad you were able to evacuate. Hopefully it is somewhere you can stay for a while. My nephew lives in Louisiana in a mobile home and he was right in Laura's path. Somehow the stick-built house across the street was demolished, but his trailer is still standing. Please take care! We are thinking about you and everyone else affected by the storm.

Haha , Ofc i do! , well , i think the thing that i do struggle the most is like countryside builds , farmhouses or things like that... i LOOOVE modern designs and real-life builds ( just like this one) haha but ya countryside builds is my weakness 😜
About the gurus: **It’s a good point you make. I thought many things influenced the decision of game pack design, like marketability and The Sims image reflecting it’s players** ... (as progressive and proactive towards conservation and environmental conscientiousness, inclusion and social values etc.. ). If these decisions aren’t backed by data or any statistical evidence of community feedback, maybe they should be. So many things we have asked for since the inception of this game, and just being on top of fixing issues we’ve dealt with forever... smh. I do understand they have limitations, and many things contribute to these decisions. At this point I really believe some things should be decided by the community through a democratic process. **At least I would like better insight to the game and I know others would, too.** Everyone isn’t going to take time to find out, but if people have access to that insight, they can pass it along so we can provide better answers and reasoning behind the decisions and issues for each other. TL;DR: Read the **bold**

Would be cool if the Sims could let you actually build a huge ship or a expansion pack or something that you can set sail and live in the sea, the same time watch out for natural disasters and survive, cause u know how sims die for literally anything

I thought you were going to build the dining saloon, but then you build the more-luxurious a la carte restaurant. Very very nice surprise!
Now addressing some historical facts... The things you mentioned are actually just conspiracy theories with no foundations.
1. The fire actually happened in another location, not where the iceberg impact was, and it was actually not a big deal... In fact it was quite common for fires like that to happen on every ship back then.
2. The insurance thing is also a myth, in fact the insurance wasn't even that big... White Star Line took a huge financial hit with the Titanic disaster.
3. If the ship had hit the iceberg from the front, it would've sank faster because the impact wave would've compromised the structure of the ship and the watertight doors would've jammed, just like what happened to Titanic's sister ship Britannic.
It's crazy how many fake news are there about absolutely every subject, right? I used to believe those things too, and was very shocked to know they were all untrue.

Nice build. I'm okay but my city was destroyed by hurricane Laura last week. There's no electricity and most people have evacuated to other cities. I brought my computer so I can build but I have been too sad to play.

@@quipped-op5xh Thanks. I evacuated and my family/friends are okay too. My place only lost a few roof tiles but my dad's whole roof is gone. That was the worst hurricane ever.
Oh no!! I'm so glad you were able to evacuate. Hopefully it is somewhere you can stay for a while. My nephew lives in Louisiana in a mobile home and he was right in Laura's path. Somehow the stick-built house across the street was demolished, but his trailer is still standing. Please take care! We are thinking about you and everyone else affected by the storm.

Haha , Ofc i do! , well , i think the thing that i do struggle the most is like countryside builds , farmhouses or things like that... i LOOOVE modern designs and real-life builds ( just like this one) haha but ya countryside builds is my weakness 😜

(as progressive and proactive towards conservation and environmental conscientiousness, inclusion and social values etc.. ). If these decisions aren’t backed by data or any statistical evidence of community feedback, maybe they should be.
So many things we have asked for since the inception of this game, and just being on top of fixing issues we’ve dealt with forever... smh. I do understand they have limitations, and many things contribute to these decisions.
At this point I really believe some things should be decided by the community through a democratic process.

Everyone isn’t going to take time to find out, but if people have access to that insight, they can pass it along so we can provide better answers and reasoning behind the decisions and issues for each other.

That's actually a myth. The fourth funnel was used for air circulation and for venting smoke from the kitchens, fireplaces and smoking rooms.

Would be cool if the Sims could let you actually build a huge ship or a expansion pack or something that you can set sail and live in the sea, the same time watch out for natural disasters and survive, cause u know how sims die for literally anything
